I'm really enjoying this game - it had a few noticable shortcomings but within 2 days of posting my original review they were addressed and are no longer applicable. I'm extremely impressed by the responsiveness of the developer. It's a very stylistic and juicy game, with a wide variety in modes - most of these are inspired by racing games, such as championships, time attacks and single races. The aesthetic is polished and minimalist. I love the racing teams aspect, it's a little reminiscent of LEGO's Drome Racers theme back in the day. I'd love to see more lore and a more fleshed out world. It uses SRS, and is a good implementation of it. There is also no hold piece - I can respect this as a game design decision, but it's stripped down in many ways without adding much of its own flair (boost simply clears the board and boosts drop speed, and does not feel particularly rewarding). I think in it's current state it would benefit from a hold piece, but it could also take this a differ...
