I think this game has a lot of potential. The biggest positive is I like the art and the boss designs for the most part. Below are some glaring game play things that need addressing. Do away with the blue projectiles they are completely useless and just clutter the screen. Make Red Projectiles blockable. The section where you have to avoid the red projectiles to get to the horn of the fire god is completely nullified by zap. Make it so the Boss AI doesn't take 45 seconds to shoot a yellow projectile which is the only way to damage bosses. Allow the player to attack with their shield so their is more depth to the combat. The Jump takes too long to come out. The dash should just come with invincibility from the start. The dash also shouldn't have a stamina bar. Make the boss attack animations more telegraphed so I know if for example he's charging at me or jumping over me. NPC's dialogue should change after I get the item they tell me to go find. I think if all these changes are ma...

Hey, I got this game about a day ago. I'm awful at video games, so I keep dying, but it's a really fun game. I reset the game to try a different shield (I actually did it twice), and the game froze, making me have to close the game and reopen it. Not huge, but probably should be resolved. The difficulty scaling could definitely be a more subtle. I know that blocking is a big part of the game, so I won't suggest a bounce mechanic like in Mario. I do, however, think that you should be able to land on the bosses with your shield. Timing it with a down stick motion would complement the timing required to use yellow projectiles. It would match the mobility style a lot better. Perhaps it could ease players into the rapid difficulty ascension by granting the ability after the first checkpoint. The last thing is really small. When you click A to start the game after the initial screen, I love the art, though. Get this game!
awful
Minos preps a charge attack while I'm midair. Land behind it. It turns around as soon as I hit the ground, charges and kills me. 10/10 My only real complaint is that I can't re-map the controls, otherwise its great
Good Shield game. The best offense is the defense!
Nice little Indie game. It's fun.
