Fantastic episode zero. The main character is instantly likable. The dry humor was timed pitch perfectly. When she would explain something, it wasn't wordy, and felt natural. I can't praise this game's writing enough for being concise and having character at the same time. The mystery was satisfying to pull apart and had a nice conclusion. The gameplay systems being put in terms of poker made it so clear, and so stylish. Why yes, I would like to double down on this piece of evidence blowing a hole in your accusation. Then the poker chip animation and sound hit... it was one of those just satisfying moments where it defines the whole experience like the OBJECTION in Phoenix Wright. Lastly, the length of this episode 0 was perfect(2 hours), and left me wanting more. Play it if you like visual novels or solving mysteries.

Met the developers in Anime NYC 2025 and appreciated talking with them on the design UI of the game. They are fully aware that the players will interact with the the UI and seem they are heavily inspired by the game Helltaker and it really shows and adds to the charm of the game. Of course, for writing/narrative in Visual Novels are the most important driver and this game does not disappoint. The cyberpunk setting is engaging, casting you as a public defender in a world where crime has been supposedly eradicated. I only finished Chapter 0 in time of writing a review, but I already bought Chapter 1 and will play it after posting of this review. I recommend to buy this if you are inching a phoneix wright or danganronpa vibe.
I went into this knowing nothing and it gave me so much to chew on. I literally shouted on stream about how awesome this game is. Try episode 0. You won't regret it.
