The Bibites: Digital Life simulates AI creatures that evolve through natural selection across generations. There are no defined goals except for the challenge mode, but you can set up fascinating experiments: introduce predators, parasites, or competitors, try selective breeding, change environments, then watch complex behaviors emerge naturally over time. While the genetic editor offers deep customization and comes with a steep learning curve, you can also use premade designs. Evolution requires resource-heavy time acceleration for meaningful results. Despite being Early Access, it offers excellent value for everyone fascinated by artificial life, ecology, and evolution.
