This game is a challenge for your dexterity, patience, and endurance. I really enjoyed the first three levels. They are fun, interesting, and require using all the tools the game provides. At first, the long-range enemies annoyed me a bit, but if you deflect their projectiles with the magic wand, they are not a problem at all. The game has a bit of a learning curve, and you won't be able to just brute force your way through it on the first try. It requires your patience and effort. I also really liked the game's visual design. It has a vibrant and magical picture that is sometimes very impressive. As for the fourth level, I have a few comments. It is too drawn out, and it would be desirable to break it into at least two levels. I even managed to get lost on it once. The trolley episode... In the current patch, it simply doesn't work as a fair challenge. It's frustrating because in addition to the game elements themselves, you have to deal with the clunky weapon selection menu and n...
Experienced on Valve Index
The game is cool and has nice visual style, but Valve Index controls are pretty bad right now, so please do something with them, it becomes obvious on the 3rd and 4th levels. Also I had some problems with achievements, but I think it happened because of my bad internet connection
Overall, this is already a pretty good game. Nice cartoonish graphics, good music, fun game mechanics. There is a room for further polishing, but still - a good one.
The level design is something between 'only up' and old-school 3D platformers, but with a lot more checkpoints, which is pleasing
I'm a VR enthusiast with quite big experience, and I really enjoyed playing this game. It's a first-person platformer where you constantly need to go up, overcoming various obstacles and monsters along the way. But instead of just standard jumps, you have a wide variety of tools to help you progress. The mechanics are interesting and diverse, and although there's room for growth and additions, the game is already captivating. Replayability is solid, you can always revisit it after some time. Playthroughs can also vary since the tools (sticks) allow for different paths or approaches. Overall, it's evident that the developers poured their hearts into the project. They don't abandon it and continue to fill it with content, respond to community messages, fix bugs quickly, and have plenty of ideas. So if you're looking for a new VR experience, give this game a try. It can impress you.
The magnet wand is REALLY WEIRD. But you get used to it. Basically it's like a sticky glove that rotates your body. Jump onto something and hold the magnet wand trigger to attach your self to the item. Then use joystick to rotate your self / pivot yourself up. Haven't played much, but it's a really neat looking world. Always cool to see strange places. The twisty / twirly game design is great.
Looks great on vive pro 2, plays great with vive wands. Fun game, amazing vistas. I've just finished level 1, wanted to publish a review while the sale is still going on. Buy it!
The magnetic elevator does not respawn. I am stuck at this poin near to the end of the game. But it is definitely a really great game :D
Couldn't get past the magnet wand mechanic being so awkward to use. The snapping into place when you start moving the stick would be jarring even on a non-VR game. It also swings you too slow for it to be very fun to use and I don't really understand the decision to make you use the stick to move with it in the first place when you could just have it freely swinging with motion controls. From the trailer some of the later wands look more fun to use but I couldn't bring myself to get there.
