User Reviews
The new mechanic introduced makes puzzles visually a mess and rather tedious. A shame! The first Hexcells was pretty good.
Mentally challenging and constantly changing
More fun minesweeper variants, with a nice increase in difficulty compared to the first "Hexcells". This also introduces new mechanics - all of them good. The only problem was the appearance of single-cell sized holes inside bigger structures that looked just like empty cells, because they had numbers inside - those are actually column numbers and holes lack the very thin border used for empty cells. I wasted some time on those, because the math did not check out until I realised what they were.
Some levels are a bit tedious, but overall a very good puzzle at an excellent price point. Not too difficult, not too easy. Fully recommend.
Love the ambient music.
