Axe Ghost

The only game mode is a Daily Challenge with a timer that's too stressful. I guess I expected a puzzle campaign after playing the demo.

This is a fun game. It is worth the price. I have over 15 hours in the demo. I haven't beaten it once. I will say that I don't think there is a significant difference in content between the demo and the full game. So I would encourage the developer to either (i) scale back the content in the demo or (ii) add content to the full game. I am glad I bought the game since I put so many hours into the demo already. But I would recommend the developer do more to give the player an incentive to buy the full game.

This is quite a nice puzzle-combat game. You have to clear enemies by grouping them as much as possible together to score more points or even earn a coin which lets you do a set of extra actions before the enemies move down a row. After a while, the boss comes out. He needs a couple of hits to take him down. You can move, swap, alter and destroy enemies by choosing one action on three given cards each per round. You always see the next set of cards. At a certain time, discarding cards starts quests. There are three in which you have to take a highlighted action. If you complete all those, you gain a score multiplier. The moment you chose another action, the quest is lost and you have to discard another card to activate the quest again. After a couple of tutorial steps, you can participate in daily runs which always have a random set of two extra cards available during battle. Certain combinations are definitely harder than others.
