Easy relaxing game you can do to unwind.

I am giving the game a very borderline recommend as it does have some very good attributes. That said, I would add only if it is on a good sale. Despite the initial appearance, it is nowhere near Stardew or Mistria in terms of sheer content, interesting NPC's and story-telling, yet charges more than either of them and is not worth full price. I play it when I just want to mess mindlessly around on my farm without time constraints or juggling duties. The good points are -charming animations, especially on the woodland folk who come into your shop. They are adorable! - Items and upgrades unlock fairly quickly - less grindy in some ways, especially that you already have the barn and coop so just need to buy animals, which aren't insanely priced. Silo has a great "feed all" button too! -storage chests are linked, which is awesome! -Store mechanics are easy and straightforward - There is no time or seasons. When you wake up its day, when you leave the shop it's night, and you can mess...

This game is definitely cozy, simple, and fun! If you like your typical farm simulator games. This is a good one to get. The only downside is there is small bugs in the game. For example, when you hammer down a stone, sometimes the hammer vanishes while in your hand. You still have it, but you have to hover over something else and back to the hammer to see it again if that bothers you.

I've really enjoyed this game I binged the demo on nintendo switch and then bought it on steam. It is a little repetitive though, theres not much to really aim for other than crop sales and getting all the animals, once you're done that there's not much else to do. Doesn't mean I didn't drop 100 hours in this game. I hope there will be more updates in the future with more things to do :)

Super cozy and chill farm sim! I love Sugardew so much, I got my mom (59) and my son (9) to play. And they love Sugardew as much as I do. It is what I was always hoping for from a cozy game. The fact that there is no combat, no super short time constraints, no platforming, and no complex systems makes it awesome for all ages who are looking for a truly relaxing game. I love being able to just grow adorable fruits and veggies while looking after super cute livestock. The story is very sweet and I had so much fun helping the island liven up again. Sugardew Island is a wonderfully relaxing game!
