Special thanks to Mr. William Soleau, founder of Soleau Software, for graciously providing me permission to take inspiration from his DOS games Loader Larry and Block-man!

Look for keys in levels with locked doors:

An elevator automatically transports you to another elevator. You can avoid taking an elevator by carrying a box or you can block an elevator with a box to disable the second elevator:

Use the "Rewind Point" feature to save or restore your progress mid-level:

With the included level editor, you can create your own custom levels. You can also export and share levels on ModDB:

Pros: - Nostalgic. Has retro graphics and plays almost identically to Blockdude which I played on my calculator about 15 years ago - Has two new additions that Blockdude didn't have: elevators and keys. These make levels more interesting. - You can undo your moves, and place one "save point" in each level. - Relatively high replayability: each level has a "par" and a "dev" score, that give you a number of moves that you have to beat the level in, in order to get a little icon on the level select screen and unlock some achievements. The "dev" score is often the fewest number of moves possible, or close to it, and the "par" score is a bit higher than that. Beating the "par" score on some levels is really challenging, and I have no idea how to beat the "dev" score on most levels. - Some levels have an extra object you can collect that unlocks a bonus level. - The levels are challenging without being too challenging, and there are a lot of them (66 total, much more than Blockdude). The fir...

Good puzzles which get fairly tricky (but never insanely difficult)

Just got through the first 20 levels in this game plus the first bonus level, messed around with the editor a bit, and I have to say I'm liking it so far. When I saw the screenshots, my thoughts were "this looks like a $5 game", but picked it up anyways after watching a few streamers play it. I'm a little dense when it comes to these sort of games (though I still love many older puzzle games like lemmings and baldies), so the hint feature came in super helpful. I did try to use it sparingly, just popping it up briefly to make sure I'm thinking in the right direction. Unlimited undos is a godsend, not sure the rewind feature is too useful when I can just undo. Level editor is fun to mess around in, but it's hard to come up with a puzzle that's actually fun to play, but I enjoyed downloading and trying out some levels people made and uploaded to indiedb. Was a little frustrated at first when I couldn't turn around without moving, but realize after a few puzzles that it seems to factor in...

I grew up with these sorts of games, so I may be a tad biased. I'm jaded by the hand-holding that many games these days do, and this one does not do that. It's much more difficult than I expected, which is a plus for me. The first row of levels does a good job of introducing the gameplay mechanics without having to resort to outright telling you what to do. The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly after that. I almost walked away when I saw that the game had hints added, but luckily they are not as hand-holdy as I thought they would be. Essentially, they provide end-states for the boxes, similar to how a sokoban game plays. Even when turned on, the more difficult puzzles are still challenging, but I am leaving it off unless I get absolutely stuck. The level editor is nice, and I'm looking forward to come up with some ideas to upload, but the sheer number of custom level slots is overkill. It's nice to have plenty of slots, but I can't imagine any individual person making that many level...

This game really makes you think. It is a great mind puzzle and fun for all ages. My whole family really enjoys figuring out where to place the boxes next. My son whom is autistic, really got a kick out of this game and it was a great sensory tool used for problem solving. Highly recommend giving this game a try if you haven't yet, you won't regret it!

When I saw this being played on Twitch, I immediately was reminded of a game I used to play on my TI-83 in my highschool years called "Blockdude". I'm a huge fan of DOS, Amiga, Apple II, Atari ST, etc. puzzle games, and this is a definite throwback to those. I discovered that Blockman actually predates the game I played, so I checked the shareware version out on a Dosbox page, and I definitely see the 'inspiration'! Kudos on getting permission from Blockman's dev to do this game! Anyways, I've played through most of the levels and absolutely love this game, The first 10 levels are fairly easy but the difficulty ramps up nicely. I was worried after the first couple levels that this was going to be an easy game, but the later levels put those worries to rest. A few suggestions/feedback: - Add more music. The menu and gameplay songs are great, but would like a few more gameplay songs - The manual is well-written, but many people might not even notice the link for the manual, so an in...
