Paradise

The overarching setting and story is what drew me to this NV. While a BL which, imo often portrays guys in very unrealistic ways to the point of icky, I think the characters were actually pretty well-written and the romance developing between the two characters in the route I played (Mitsurugi) was genuinely interesting and made the story better. Also the game gives easy mode you can turn on so it will help you do the routes. It'll show you what choices will be for which character route. I love that. Always kills immersion when you gotta alt tab out to check a guide in between. The only real negative is the annoying voice acting of the protag. The normal spoken lines are fine. He has a good voice. But did the producer really have to tell the VA to make an over the top yawning noise that last 5 seconds, in 20 different ways, to then use it in game, while having the noise written out too "uwaaaaghhhh!' to then also have the next line of narration start with: "I yawned." short review maybe im just edgy or seasoned to the yaoi genre but wish there was more...kick to it? felt hyped because people kept saying that it was horrendous and whatnot but its just sort of standard to the vn genre

I finished all of the good routes and a few of the bad. I enjoyed Mitsugi the most followed by Matsuda. Takara's character was definitely the weakest. Matsuda's voice actor in my opinion is the best in the cast. I liked Azuma too and wish we got more on his background. I recommend playing in the order of Mitsugi > Matsuda > Takara. [spoiler] Takara's route has to be unlocked by getting the good routes of Mitsugi and Matsuda first along with 2 bad endings.
