The Gauntlet is a single player, parkour like speed-runner game. You play as a contestant in a new Game Show hosted by the evil master-mind known as Bad Bat.
Race through a multitude of lethal obstacle courses all of which have been designed with your demise in mind. If you can make it through Bad Bat’s chambers the fastest, you can leave with the Grand Prize! Your Life.
Campaign
Sprint, slide, jump and ride your way through a variety of obstacles as you experience Bad Bat’s brutal Game Show in campaign mode. Do what you need to get to the end, but just make sure that when you enter that elevator, that you are not the slowest contestant.
Speedrun Mode
Think you could have gone even faster in a particular gauntlet? Once you complete the campaign you will unlock “Speedrun Mode” in which you can tackle each Gauntlet whenever you want. Work on new routes, tackle different obstacles and work towards a new high-score!
Very hood money
Super fun game with tricky levels and great mechanics, played a lot of the demo and to have the full game now it just kept getting better, would really recommend, I cant wait to finish this game and start working on getting my times down :)
Short and sweet! Could do with some extra sound effects as the atmosphere was really lacking, but that core gameplay loop is good as shit

Bought this on day of release but didnt want to leave a review until I finished the game. The reason it took me so long to finish is because I was using a laptop with 4gb ram, windows used 80% of it so had p bad fps when running the game. Got a new laptop now uwu :3 So the game can probably run on an irish potato but non-eu/na potatoes will have issues. Really enjoyed The Gauntlet, it's kinda janky but loveable. Challenging but fair and the obstacles are telegraphed in advance so there isnt any "bullshit" thrown at you. Enjoyed the different colour palette in each stage. Props to whoever designed stage 4, had some fun Killer Klowns from outer space vibes to it. Music was great in all stages. The story was ... quirky? Fair play to everyone at Round Table Studios <3
