The whole warning about being able to terminate your access to the game for seemingly no reason just rubs me the wrong way edit: dev responded nicely
Very addicting
I would not even recommend this for free. 1) I have repeatedly had an issue where I simply cannot install the first gun. 2) You then have to restart, which replays a pointless opening animation that you can't seem to skip. 3) I get high-health enemies that outpace me, so I can't avoid taking damage. 4) The game makes very little sense. There's a lack of explanation of what to do. 5) The graphics and colours (including inverting colour flashes) are so bad it could potentially give you a migraine. I honestly wondered if the game is broken, it looks so bad. However, if you watch the Level 5 boss video, you'll see the red filter on hit - this is just egregious and unpleasant, especially when it pops up frequently because you're being chased by a high-health enemy which is faster than you (see 3). Only 56% of players have beaten the first boss. This then falls to 40% for the second boss. This indicates that people aren't even playing this game for 15 minutes or that, if they do, they don't...
Fire game, the music and art and game play is so cool. You can tell a lot of work went into this
Best game art of all time !
good
Amazing game with tons of content, awesome music, creative and original enemies and fun progression. I love the art so much :) Was a little confused with the UI at first, but I understood it after a bit of playtime.
Tons of fun. Not going to lie the game is challenging but game play feels rewarding . especially after you beat a new boss or get to try a new weapon. Lot of fun upgrading your weapons and trying to figure out the new bosses you encounter. Looking forward to playing it more.
Solid first game from this studio. I love the retro feel, and the sound design (especially the soundtrack) is pretty good. The dynamic lighting caught me by surprise, very snazzy. I adore the main menu desktop PC. My biggest criticism is probably the map, it's very hard to tell which objects have collision and which don't. It's easy to accidentally back yourself into a corner. And the enemies can despawn/respawn to duck under obstacles, which leads to surprise damage (see the top review for elaboration)
