This is a genuinely artful, deeply queer game. It’s wonderful, and tragic, and hopeful all at once. Bot to mention very funny. All the art is amazing, and the animations are fluid and organic while retaining the retro-inspired feel. Pretty sick to have this one in my collection, a trans girl staple and a must play for any kinky queer woman

If you're just here to jerk off, this game can do that for you, but it has a lot more to offer than just that. It's a fascinating cyberpunk adventure through not only a ruined city, but through the human psyche and sexuality.

“HARDCODED” is a good game and despite me not being a fan of the art style, I enjoyed it for quite a while. There are many interesting people to get close to with great personalities, but from what I could see, you’ll only ever be one lover among many for any of them. I never felt my character connected with anyone particularly deeply; it was only ever skin deep, but I did not finish the game, as I grew bored before reaching a satisfying conclusion. With that in mind, it’s worth picking up if you enjoy what it offers, but especially if you like the art style. A lot hinges on the latter and influence the review score a lot. (6/10) for those that might not enjoy it so much, and (8/10) for those that do.

I dont even know where to start with this game. The art is really pretty, the writing is just so SO good and the setting is really interesting. [u]Length:[/u] You may go into this game thinking neat i can spend a couple of hours on this (like i did) and then realize that the stories just keep expanding and suddenly you're 40 hours in. That being said it, at no point, feels like a drag. [u]Story:[/u] The main plotline will send you on a rollercoaster of emotions. On one side you have such a well written story about companionship and overcoming hardships together - it being a sci-fi dystopia and all, but more importantly in relation to themes such as belonging and transition. And on the other side you have a super well written, super positive look on the sex aspect of the game and finding yourself through said aspect. And even though a particular encounter may not be your thing you can still appriciate the passion that went into both writing and painting that particular thing. [u]Ga...

The best way for me to describe Hardcoded would be a flawed masterpiece. It's not perfect and has some pretty glaring issues, but those are largely down to overambition than lack of ability. There's also absolutely nothing like it. Hardcoded is a gloriously unapologetic queer game about being a transfemme android in a cyberpunk city trying to live her life after, for lack of a better term, discovering who she is. The various stories are heartfelt, well-told, and really help you fall in love with the world and its characters. The cast as a whole is fantastic too, with depth and growth and unexpected twists to Who They Are As People (also, again, hella gay <3). This game made me feel a lot of things (some sexy some not), but above all else it made me feel *seen*. That being said, it's not all glorious rainbow perfection. The game definitely has some pacing/writing issues, since it's possible (and pretty easy if you're a sidequest girl like me) to go through character's entire storylin...

its a fun and cute and horny VN about being a trans woman in a dystopian cyberpunk future and having lots of sex! genuinely though, I deeply relate to the MC, and the cast of side characters that you meet in the game is very fun to interact with. Your circle of friends seem very sex- positive in a way that makes them seem closer to each other in an indescribable way. At first the pixel graphics took some getting used too. The first encounter was nice, eventually I met more friends and began their stories (Ignoring the main story). I found a little alley where a dominatrix locked me in some stocks then paid me when someone reamed my arse and that built up a nice cache of money (coupons) and when I located shops I went shopping. Still working on the friends stories so after 4 hours I still have a fair bit of content to do and I want to see what's next.

Yall this game is sooo good. It looked like a sexyfun good time, and it is. But I am SO invested in these characters! Each character has such deep motivations and relatable problems, and the more I play the more this world opens up. There is like..... *SO* much stuff in this game yall.... Its like. An exploration of the very human concept of free will and how we all struggle to make the most of it told via hot sex, gender talk, and of course robots! It's got me THINKING! And the money mechanic with the machines is a fun reward for exploring all the routes.
