If you are reading this im gonna stop you right here and tell you to buy this game. For 15$ this game is a darn steal, there are 4 main characters in the beginning with Approx-50-60 upgrades, when you actually play there are 4 different levels than a final level with the boss. than to add some whipped-topping? you can unlock 5 more characters that have 50-60 upgrades also. Why buy? if you like puzzle games and a bit of comedy, this is a no-brainer. btw this game can take 5 hours of your day, and this does not include beating the boss, this is just doing upgrades and mining. so? why are you still reading? Buy this game this will hit 60 hours EASY in your library! You know, it's fine I guess. But honestly, I really like the aesthetic and the feel of the original more. Now that I've played Supermotherload, I'd probably tell others to save the money and just boot up the flash version instead. Plus I think the upgrade system in the original was better as well. Functionally we get all the same upgrades, tread speed, hull strength, drill depth, etc. But the way they were presented was more interesting in the flash. instead of just "cargo space 4/8" or whatever, it was represented by differing sizes of containers, with listed liters of volume. That was neat. The tread speed wasn't just "tread speed 2/5", it was an engine upgrade, with the associated engine specs. Felt less like a game construct, and more like an immersive upgrade to your drill. So you gain some better QoL features with autosave, and the voice acted lines that pose a potentially engaging story line, definitely better graphics, and unarguably better performance.
