About This Game

Seven Second Summer Camp is a unique meditation game that blends the tranquility of mindfulness with the engaging mechanics of gaming. Set in a picturesque summer camp, this game invites players to explore a mystical world filled with diverse environments, each offering a peaceful escape.

It's designed by the world’s most ethical gamer, GoldVision. It's for players who say they can’t meditate, for people who love to, and everyone in between.

This is a game you can completely “beat” peacefully. This is a game that does not even have destruction in the code. It is anchored in peace, in being the change you want to see, and in the well documented health benefits of meditation.

Also if you’re really good it only takes 7 seconds to beat, so there’s that.

Tranquil Gameplay: Focus on various objects, from the simplicity of a campsite to the wonders of a mysterious digital world. By meditating on these objects, earn points and progress through levels, each unveiling more captivating scenes to immerse in.

Gentle Progression: Build points through a non-destructive loop, interacting with animals, plants, and mystical objects. Experience the satisfaction of "defeating" challenges by evolving them into more peaceful states.

Guided Meditations and Badges: Unlock special guided meditations by focusing on specific objects. Earn badges by meditating on the right elements, enhancing your journey with rewarding milestones.

Soothing Audio Experience: Immerse yourself in a constant meditative soundscape, featuring calming music tracks and ambient sounds, designed to promote peace and relaxation.

Dynamic Evolution: An ongoing game with plans to introduce multiplayer and live shared meditation experiences, expanding the serene journey with communal mindfulness.

"Seven Second Summer Camp" offers a unique blend of relaxation and engagement, perfect for players seeking a peaceful gaming experience. Whether you're new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, this game provides a gentle, fun, and rewarding path to mindfulness.

Cheeky and soothing. It could use a little bit of polish--maybe make the zoom-in when you stop to concentrate on an object smoother instead of a hard cut. Overall, though, it's a great way to stop and spend a few minutes to unwind in a trippy, imaginative, world!

Cool concept, a meditative game which is very accessible, only needing to point and hold your look on objects to progress, not even the need to click. However, while interesting at first, the long times the game leaves you to meditate, unguided, even as a seasoned meditator, don't make for a *fun* game. Then again, maybe that's just me. Francisco might enjoy it. (If you're new to meditation and find the long wait times so boring that you're likely to shut it off, I suggest using the time to run through guided meditations. Plenty of apps and YouTube vids that can help with that.) It was also a bit glitchy at times, but I suspect things will be patched up in time. And a cool effort from a one-person game.

this game was a little overwhelming and was almost too much for me to experience it in its full from beginning, middle to end all in one go but I managed and it might just be the game of the year

Outstanding. Wonderful quaint little adventure, with plenty of cute things to look at along the way. It sets an introspective mood and gently pushes you towards meditation habits. While often cleverly disguised, the lessons begin to take root slowly, just as the world around you slowly grows. While not necessarily engaging, this is a game meant to be played while sitting back and relaxing. It's an excellent alternative to doom-scrolling your time away.

awesome experience! i also just wanted to say that i especially really love the s t r e t c h y-warpy distortion rectangles (that wander around in the purple place); they have a specific kind of "helps with resolving stuckness/tension-in-my-belly/etc. feelings" effect on me, in a way i was genuinely super impressed by when i first let myself fall in thank you for helping me learn meditation etc. -R.P. (also, it's funny that steam at first didn't let me post a review, because according to its time-tracking, i had played it for less than 5 minutes; probably happened because i always play singleplayer games in offline-mode, so steam ended up getting confused i guess time really did stop! xD)

I've never played a meditation game before but I can't imagine having a better time with one than this. I thought I won the game, but turns out I have more to figure out, which is ironic. I've been a big fan of Goldvision's work for years, I'm glad this hit the spot. Only ran into one bug, which was that the narration subtitles sometimes got turned into random gibberish letters. I imagine it had something to do with my laptop dropping the framerate pretty bad during some parts. No effect on gameplay at all!

I play non-violent games, I meditate and I have a short attention span. I played this game for longer than I expected and enjoyed it. It felt like GoldVision was guiding my meditation. Excellent.
