I waited months and months for this game to come out. I bought it on launch. I've never been so disappointed in a game . I see it in my library and it makes me beyond angry. The amount of base game rides is terrible. Its a money grabbing game and its getting as bad as the sims 4. I hate the water grid system , the power system. I hate the lack of decor , I hate how planet coaster 1 is 1000 times better. save your money, I sure wish I did.

I genuinely wanted to like this game. I saw the issues with pathing, staffing, etc., and thought "most bugs can be worked around," and went for the purchase. Largely, it is appreciable that they're clearly trying to take up the mantle of the RCT franchise, but unfortunately the level of bugginess renders entire scenarios unplayable. Staff getting stuck in random complete paths, guests refusing to board a ride or follow a complete and smooth path ahead of them - so you delete, recreate, reroute, and MAYBE that works two out of ten times. But then it starts happening in another location that hadn't been an issue before. Then a guest gets stuck getting on or off a roller coaster and if you don't notice immediately you're hemorrhaging early game money. So you raise prices on certain places that were cheap to compensate and suddenly people are boarding but no money is going into your coffers. So you try to fix that but the glitch seems to have taken, so you have to delete and rebuild. O...

This game is fun. I dont know why these reviews on this game are so low. I am playing this on a mid end laptop with an terrible graphics card and it is running perfectly fine for me. There are so many rides in this game and l like how there is not just rides and also staff, food/drink carts, and much more fun stuff. The price of $65 CAD is a bit steep for this game. Overall it is a very fun and entertaining game. WARNING GAME IS VERY ADDICTING!

Its very fun imo when its not crashing 10 times in a row, I do recommend it but the crash issue really needs to be fixed so for now I would stray away from it

Planet Coaster 2 brings all the great stuff from the first game and further improves on it in every possible way. Special mentions being the new pathing tools which are amazing and allow the player to create any park layout you can imagine, the new ray traced lighting which allows for properly dark indoor ride sections and darkrides and much improved graphics and the new DLSS support and much improved performance in bigger parks compared to PC1. The only thing this game is still missing from the first game is some of it's scenery content and rides (including those of the DLC's). If all that is ported over the Planet Coaster 2 eventually, the new weather and season system will be perfected further, if short 3D grass is added to grass surfaces and a fence tool is added this game really is the best and prettiest looking theme park game ever made.

There's a learning curve, but it's fun and fulfilling once you figure it out. Whether you want a family park or something more extreme, if you can dream it, you can build it.

Less content then the original Planet coaster. Items that should have snap quality's to them like pipes and fences do not have snap together. Adding paths and or Transforming the terrain will at times create holes in the world that lag the game and do not go away. Also speaking of paths, Sometimes the staff will just not recognize a working path at all, and other times things just wont connect properly to paths even though they are connected This happens mostly with Power and water stations. Some items that were in the original are not present, and others that reasonably should be there and fit the theme's given in the game- Don't exist? For example, there is a wild west theme set. But you cannot make a park in an environment that looks like the wild west. There are no default shells for themed shops or facilitates. There are also themes like "Mythology" that although clearly inspired by Greek mythology, Lack any real items or rides that work with making a park using that theme. Also...

Game is in a much better place now, I have over 1000 hours in PZ so you can take my word that this game is much better in every single aspect from pathing system (extremely frustrating in PZ and PC) to ambience to water system. The only negative I have for PC2 is the guests getting stuck in some places that they shouldn't be but it can always be resolved with barriers/paths, no issues with attractions or staff so far. There are quite a lot of coasters and rides (plus flumes and pools which are very good now) but without a doubt more will be coming now that they fixed most issues, we definitely need more flat rides and animated items. To be fair most negative reviews are from casuals, unfortunately the Planet franchise attracts these people, PC2's graphics, lighting and animations are much better, you can't play this with a 10-year old computer and expect no issues, I have 140 hours as of this review and I've had zero crash, the problem is not the game, it's getting insane that every ...

5 hours of gameplay but with many crashes, revert settings disable hdr, enable this, safe start etc... the game just isn't done yet I tried 2 computers, all other "stable" games run perfect this is a mess. Game itself looks like PC with improvements and new stuff, some this work, some don't and it misses the workshop.

Game has too many issues right now to be enjoyable. Staff management is incredibly annoying. Have to manage schedules and breaks but the biggest problem is the staff zones. It takes way too long to assign staff to zones and then you cant even see where theyre assigned to from the staff page that you assign them from. Its awful. And because of that, I dont add staff to zones and then nothing gets done or it takes forever to get done. Also, people constantly get stuck at the pool. I didnt even add anything, its an in game pool and people just constantly get stuck at it. This game really doesnt stand out from others in the genre in any significant way and isnt in a state Id even consider playable right now.
