Presenting itself as an older, kind of controversial game, this is not the same thing. There is no action, no threat, and really a whole lot of nothing. This is the definition of a walking simulator as that's all you do. You walk very, very, very slowly thru a dull maze with your only task being to collect 8 books. Once you do, the corridor with the exit is unlocked. Once you click on that exit after slowly wandering for an hour, you simply get a "THE END" screen. That's it, that's the game.
I was hoping for a faithful recreation of the original without the illegal stuff and malware (which is high hopes given the original is near impossible to find nowadays), but this is a shoddy excuse for a remake with little in common with the OG. Don't waste your time with this cash-grab.
