All the crucial pieces for a solid deck builder is there, but they are not clicking for me. For starters, one of the starting heroes (Hercules) is bugged as his passive skill is not working. Game did not get any patches after release (over 6 months ago), so it's safe to say that it will stay that way. Bugs aside, general gameplay loop seems to be a big chore and RNG fest. Strategies circle around building synergistic deck of spells+enchantments and combining it with heroes strong suits, BUT you can get screwed by RNG multiple ways. There aren't enough "deck manipulation" options to rely on drawing any spells/enchantments consistently. On top of that, heroes share the same deck (or you can spawn one at random), so you have another layer of luck to get screwed on. And even if you manage to get something going, all heroes have a built-in death timer where they just say "Adios" and expire, although much more often you just get out-scaled/screwed over by enemy spawns. Speaking of enemies...
