The true form of a fun game: Sometimes you need a deep story, creative gameplay, or stunning graphics. But sometimes, you just want a fun game — one that has good elements, even if nothing is groundbreaking — just something that gives you a good time. I’ve never seen the Indiana Jones movies, but I really enjoyed this game. I haven't felt like such an adventurer — in the true sense of the word — since Tomb Raider, until now. The gameplay is divided into two main parts: puzzle-solving and combat. The puzzles are great — they make you think, but they’re not so difficult that you need to check walkthroughs. I loved them. The combat is okay. I liked it — it’s simple but fun. On the other hand, the stealth mechanics aren’t great. Sometimes enemies react weirdly, and takedowns don’t always work. But overall, I’d say the combat is decent. The graphics are impressive, and the variety of locations really adds to the experience. You get a strong sense of ad...

Nice game, I didn't expect it to be that awesome. There are some challenging puzzles, the story and the graphics are really good. 10 out of 10.

I was really skeptical when this game was announced. There's no way they can make a game about Indiana Jones being engaging for that long, right? Surely the novelty would wear off quickly... Boy was I wrong and pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be one of my favorite games last year. Not only is it visually stunning but gameplay wise it's also fun as hell. The major levels can be almost explored however you want, kind of like Dishonored or an immersive sim equivalent. Dishonored being one of my favorite series I think is a big reason why I enjoyed this game so much. You can try your best at stealth, wear a disguise or go in gun blazing if that's more your style. There's so many fun ways to engange with the enemy, use your whip to trip someone or pull them to you so you can grapple and push them off the edge, pick up that random shovel over there and bonk a guy in the face, throw it at the next guy, steal his gun, use all the ammo then flip the gun around and bam now you have anoth...

Let me start with: It is a good game! So why the negative review then, because it kept me going for almost 49 hours? I don't recommend it now for €69,99 and €34,99 for the DLC on top of that. That in itself is already ridiculous: If you bought the game and then buy the DLC you pay more than buying the premium edition.
The Good
The story is an absolute blast. It is well written and has some seriously good voice actors/voice acting. What is also nice is that Germans speak German, Italians speak Italian and Arabians speak Arabic. Everybody speaks their native tongue. Finally! The locations are also great. The whole thing packed together makes it feel like an interactive Indiana Jones movie and it's just ever so good. And the game every now and then also just looks insanely good.
The Ugly
This game by no means is polished. It has some serious issues with collision. I guess when you (only) play the main story your attention will get drawn away from this. But th...

Very fun, although I am playing on a 5080 and it can't handle the supreme settings with full ray tracing on 1440p. This game brings the 3rd best gaming GPU in the world to it's knees. even with DLSS on balanced, I get a mere 45 fps with frame gen. hopefully the 5080 super can handle it better with more vram.

This is a very frustrating 7/10 game that could have been 9/10 if it didn’t have a bunch of annoying issues. At it’s core it’s an immersive sim light, with a strong story, several areas to explore, satisfying combat and interesting puzzles. It also unfortunately has technical issues. Frame generation doesn’t work in cutscenes unless you install a mod, so on highest settings cutscenes are very choppy. Fortunately there is a mod that quickly fixes this. The game also seems to have a problem with newer intel processors, to the point over time I had increasing crashes, eventually every 45 minutes or so. These were dealt with only when someone posted a solution on the steam forum to downclock my processor slightly using Ituner. After that no more crashes. I also became stuck randomly at the end of the game, and could not move, except to jump. This was again fixed by a visit to the steam forums, where a solution is to interact with an object. This took several painstaking minutes ...

Loved it. Like others have said, it captures the essence of the old Indian Jones movies perfectly. The dialogue, the camera shots, the music. It all just works perfectly. Graphics are eye candy. Now as far gameplay goes: it's a 1st person game, you can use your whip as a weapon, you use disguises and generally this is a stealth game as much as it's an "adventure" game; you don't store weapons you pick up and direct combat in the open (guns blazing) is not recommended and does not reward you anything. There is at least one disguise per area that will make moving around fascist a lot easier. There is a lot of exploration in this game and it is rewarding: you get skills (in the form of manuals) that you can then acquire (which consumes adventure points) plus a lot of side-quests are also acquired by exploring. Additionally medicine bottles are by themselves a separate currency in the game allowing you to purchase manuals that can't be found in the world. Spent around 34 hours to complete ...

Indiana Jones has officially run out of ancient artefacts, he is now chasing concepts such as the circle. I look forward to the sequel, Indiana Jones and the Last Digit of Pi. Don't let the name fool you, this is a goated game that reminded me of the Robocop game in a lot of ways.

Feels like being Indy in a movie. The puzzles, the combat, the stealth elements, the atmosphere and scenarios are all very good. The cut scenes acting are amazing and the voice acting is superb. The only issue is the constant, annoying sound/animation desyncs all the time. It's irritating sometimes because it totally breaks the mood and immersion. And my machine is way above the recommended specs for it. Overall it's a must have. I only wish it were more optimized for PCs.
