About This Game

"I remember how surprised I was when I first saw this case. Everyone involved was lying, for one reason or another."

#No_Case_Should_Remain_Unsolved is a detective game where players uncover and piece together memory fragments to solve a long-forgotten case. Follow former police detective Jeon Gyeong as she acquires clues and testimony relating to the case of a missing girl.

#No_Case_Should_Remain_Unsolved

February 5, 2012. A little girl named Seowon is reported missing from a playground. Police launch an investigation and question witnesses and suspects, but Seowon's case is never solved.
Twelve years after Senior Inspector Jeon Gyeong's retirement, she is visited by a young police officer: a woman who pleads with her to reexamine Seowon's case.
But with each uncovered memory, only one thing becomes clear: everyone in Seowon's vicinity was lying.

Features

  • Experience an imaginative reasoning system where players connect memories like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
  • Uncover passcodes, keys, 54 conversations, and two hidden truths.
  • Over the course of a 2-3 hour playthrough, players will learn why Seowon's disappearance is the only case Jeon Gyeong has left unsolved.
  • Also featuring an original soundtrack by Seongyi Yi, composer of Legal Dungeon and The Wake!

At first I was sure I'd dislike this - the gauntlet of figuring out how to play the game and the initial overload of information was overwhelming. But steadily I got a grip on what everything meant, what was going on, and was able to shift and move the conversations around to the right people and ended up really enjoying it (and getting teary!)

This was a great game to play. It makes you work as if you are actually putting together the pieces of a cold case. Very satisfying ending as well. .

Excellent puzzle game unraveling a mysterious cold-case. Centered around careful reading and cross-referencing of dialog, in a similar manner to games like Ace Attorney or Return of the Obra Dinn. Was a bit surprised by how short the game was (though that will depend on how quickly you pick apart the mystery), but it doesn't out-stay its welcome or waste time once you've grasped the solution.

Like with a hidden gem manga, have a bit of paciace for the into and it will such you in. I got lost in that memory puzzle solving, putting the story together. It's such a brilliant way to give a player the detective role with such minimal tools. The story is amazing and it kept me on my toes and wondering who's the culprit until the very end. I spend 7 hours to finish it, somehow missed one achievement... I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great visual novel game.

一开始的时候很头大,但后面搞清楚机制后就流畅了很多。 很遗憾只有一个故事。

Fun game! At first I didn't know what it was asking of me, but as I kept playing, things started to click. It's a good little story.

A stunning narrative experience that kept me guessing and invested until the heart-racing finale. It starts off confusing, but stick with it, because that's by design.

Despite simple UX and graphics, I played it through in one go: couldn't put it down until the puzzle was solved. The story is interesting, and I loved both endings.

To be honest, I had to look up a guide for the puzzles and such because I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make everything connect. Which was fine because I was more for the story anyways than the puzzle. Still, I very nice game with emotional punch.
