Batman™: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition

Normally when I write reviews for games on steam I write a joke. But this game has been so wrongfully panned for over a decade. People hate it because it isn't 3D. Who cares. This is a metriodvania not an action adventure game. Is for honor 2 a bad game because is doesn't have guns? NO! Just because one game has something doesn't mean all others should have it too! This is a fine metriodvania. It stands toe to toe with the likes of Metriod fusion and Castlevania Symphony of the night.

I loved it. It's pretty simple, but still fun. I think most of the negative reviews are from people who understandably wanted this to play like the other Arkham games, unaware of what this game is. The game is 2D, but does a pretty good job translating Arkham mechanics to that style. The game has alternate costumes, detective mode, combat, and predator sections. I also liked the story, but I won't spoil it. I definitely recommend the game, but have to warn you that you will be disappointed if you are expecting an experience like Arkham city.

Great game :) If you liked Batman Arkham Origins you'll like Batman Arkham: Origins Deluxe Edition. This is the same, only more the same gameplay :) I recommend this game and all Batman Arkham Series too :)
