This one of the worst rouge-like game i have ever played... early access or not, there are a lot of funadmental problems with this game, starting from the loot system, ability chances, through the scaling between the maps and the mobs within 1 single map, and so on and on.. and on... I put almost 70 hours into this game, to write this short but telling review. Do. Not. Buy. This. Game. YET. wait a year or so... maybe some miracle will happen....

NOT WORTH BUYING. I cannot recommend this game to anyone due to lack of transparency from developers and them choosing to ignore their community whilst releasing more "content" instead of fixing core mechanics. There are plenty of action roguelike out there that is actually fun to play, go find happiness from them. This game will not give you that satisfaction.
honestly the game isnt as bad as some of the other reviews made it seem. i was skeptical at first but its only a $10 game.. its simple, fun, and doesnt require a lot of brain power to be good at. i would recommend if youre looking for an easy-going game to pass time on
The game is unbalance to newcomers player, if you continue play from update its easily win. But if you new start after update. They even add ice skeleton on Chaos 1, when those only release after update Chaos 5 for the previous player. And that is where you have to face multi ice spike while you don't even have enough damage to kill them. And they start spawning more than you can handle. You'll be using 25+ to 45+ weapon, while old player already have 80+ to 100+ damage weapon to face them after the update.
I really love the concept of the game… but it just isn’t very fun right now. Playing levels on the lowest difficulty and not being able to win despite having grinded lower levels for gold and equipment just feels overly punishing. The legendary equipment concept is heavily flawed as drop rates are very low and equipment levels increase each level of the tower, so the stat benefits quickly lag and you have to decide whether to keep using or sell. It would be so much better if you could extract or directly equip some of the legendary abilities as many really shake up the game in a positive way (or add them as a other progression system somehow) but having to farm over and over again doesn’t feel right for the genre and gameplay loop here.
The game has potential, but not in its current state. Right now, there are no locations on the map, which makes runs feel extremely repetitive and dull, especially without the unique effects that locations could bring to spice things up. The active skills don’t feel impactful, little to none synergies, and the gameplay loop just isn’t there yet. On top of that, the unique skills for each character don’t justify having three different classes, because they all end up playing almost exactly the same. Sure, the game oozes style, has great art, and nails the atmosphere, but that alone won’t keep players hooked. At the moment, there’s just no real reason to pick this over Death Must Die, which is cheaper and far more polished.
I don't often leave reviews, but I don't really understand the mediocre opinions on this game. I'm not very far along yet (I just finished level 3), but so far the game is really fun. The progression system is original, and it's a real pleasure to be able to loot gear and see it on your character. It gives the feeling of real progression. I think people who complain about ranged enemies probably don't understand the game's progression and character upgrade system. There are ways to create very interesting builds with armor set bonuses, etc. I think ranged enemies are skill checks. If you get stuck on them, it means your character isn't strong enough to beat the weaker packs, and therefore you can't focus on them. So yes, the game still needs a little polish, but I don't think it deserves so many negative reviews. Of course, this review will be updated if I feel the need as I progress.
At first i enjoy it but when i start clearing chaos floor 15-20, it was hell. My favorite character is warrior, enemy too many range type, lost count how many legendaries i gotten so far but a lot is duplicates for skills i don't want or don't need. The jewel and rune system is a joke tbh, you don't need it to clear chaos level 20.
In it's current form I'd suggest not wasting you time or money. Needs a lot more work done on it in terms of progression difficulty scaling. Gearing also is horrid in its current form. Far too grindy for such little content.
Devs dont listen, all the socket system is pretty useless just inventory clutter because most item dont have sockets, the grind becomes boring quickly, inventory is a mess, most item powers are useless eg. 50% distance on heavens judgement?? . With all the issues they release 10 more levels of grind with some new mobs that die like the other mobs and no incentive at alll ....guess next patch we can get 15 more levels of chaos dungeons ..yey ...game is dead just like the braindead devs.
