I'm just at the beginning of the game, but I'm already in love with it. I love the gameplay, graphics, history, and the heroes. The challenge now is to play this game with my wife hahaha I'm on Linux Mint, and it is all good so far :) Nice work Uruca lol

Legacy of Evil is a simple and straightfoward game that feels like a love letter to oldschool games. You can chill and play with your friends and laugh about it as you get destroyed by its brutal dificulty, quite akin to arcade games of old. I believe the dev's love for it shine through, and although there is room for improvment, I believe its a nice experience as is. Worth a try, and with such a simple gameplay loop, you can get a feel if it's your jam or not within the 2h spam in which you can refund it anyhow. My recomendation would be to try it with a friend, but if you're alone (sad) its still a good time!

I feel compelled to write a positive review a little early, as I feel confident I'll enjoy this one for several hours to come at a bare minimum and want to show support while they're a new release. Very delighted by this unique, action-packed little gem, and very much enjoying local co-op especially. There are not multiple difficulty levels by default that I can tell, and I haven't fully completed the base run yet, but it's a nice moderate challenge with room to master a few different mechanics/characters to keep it interesting, and with the significant roguelite perma-upgrades between runs i'm pleasantly surprised at its relative accessibility/replayability while still preserving a sense of challenge. This game does feel somewhat uniquely like its own thing, at least to me...I feel like saying it's just a SHMUP skinned as an ARPG might be technically accurate but is not quite doing the unique vibe justice; it really "feels" like a high-fantasy Action RPG and a SHMUP had a baby, e...

Xico

Simple, fun, and addictive! Bought it without expecting much and ended up stuck for more than hour trying to beat the stages. The retro visuals are charming, and the difficulty is just right to make every win feel amazing. The Wizard is my fav char, but you need to keep some Warriors in your party to boost attack damage.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well it mixes classic shoot ’em up action with RPG elements. The pixel art is gorgeous, every stage has its own unique atmosphere, and the bosses are huge and full of personality. What really hooked me was the hero system — you can build your team with very different classes, each with their own abilities, which keeps the gameplay fresh and varied. Even when you lose, you still feel like you’re making progress, since you can spend your gold on permanent upgrades — that satisfying sense of growth with every run. I played local co-op with a friend and it was pure fun! You’ll laugh, panic, and cheer when you win. The difficulty is spot-on: challenging but not unfair (and when it frustrates, it’s the good kind that makes you want to try one more time). If you enjoy games that mix nostalgia with modern mechanics, Legacy of Evil is highly recommended. Worth every cent!
