The general sentiment is that the PC port has been released in an unoptimised state and it’s definitely justified, it runs poorly (I’m talking long loading times, stutters, and in some cases outright crashes) and cutscenes more often than not just don’t function and keep glitching out even after switching all my settings to low. I played the other two on deck and they were fantastic! Everything ran and played fine and I had a really great time playing them. But this one? I have no idea what went wrong, which is a shame because it’s arguably the one I was most looking forward to playing when going through these in order. It doesn’t look like things are going to get any better either because we’ve not had any patch updates since May. Don’t get me wrong, taking optimisation out of the equation, the game is decent and there’s a lot to enjoy…when it actually works, but as it stands I can’t recommend this. Save your money
🕷️ Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Swinging Through New Adventures
What I Played: I swung into action as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, juggling their personal lives with saving the day. I've clocked countless hours on the PlayStation 5 version and couldn't resist double-dipping on Steam for the breathtaking experience. The Good:

The web-swinging mechanics feel absolutely sublime, making traversal a joy in the concrete jungle of New York City. It's like a dance in the skies!
The dynamic duo gameplay between Peter and Miles adds a fresh layer of excitement, each with their unique abilities that keep the gameplay interesting and varied.
The Bad:

The open-world side activities could get a tad repetitive after a while, with some feeling like filler content rather than significant additions to the story.
While the combat is slick and satisfying, I occasionally found myself button-mashing in tougher fights rather th...

A pretty decent follow up to the first game city feels fresh (even after beating the first game a couple of months prior to getting this) I like the new web gliders that allow you to travel around the city much faster and honestly feels great especially with the wind tunnels that are scattered around the city. Miles and Peter are both fun to play as I think I enjoyed playing as miles more because of his suits (especially the suit with the kitty in his backpack) Not to many complaints I honestly thought the final boss was going to be hell after getting to phase 2 of the fight but honestly once you get to the “final” fight it’s really not all that hard. Story is alright but I could not stand the goddamn MJ missions I’m sorry but i am not interested in stealthing around for 30 mins with the worlds most powerful handgun thankfully its only like maybe 4 of those missions. If you are interested in playing this after beating the first I’d say go for it and for sure get it on sale...

Hope you like cutscenes and mediocre gameplay. I really think all these Playstation Exclusives are the most overhyped games in the industry. Being a huge Spider-Man fan and someone who only has Steam and XboX I was happy to see the game released on Steam finally and decided to give it a try. Meh is all I can say. The gameplay is basically just like every other open world Assassins Creed like and my god every 10 minutes of gameplay there is a 20 minute cutscene that just completely makes tha game feel disjointed. That being said it does look good but the game itself just very meh. Id give it a 5/10

I definitely enjoy how they make sequels with the same engine but way more content, like god of war ragnarok. But the problem is i finished this game and 100% everything + achievements and somehow im half way (41 hours) but the first game i finished everything at 78 hours.... either way if you liked the first game and miles morale then this will be for you. I recommend getting it on sale though. 8/10 100% completion + achievements

this game is an unacceptable port, the dlss integration is subpar at best, the game itself is extremely vram hungry, and it seems to be very anti-consumer, with the bar of having good graphics with stable framerates barely meeting the current average pc build, do not buy this if ur pc is under £1000, absolute shitshow of a port, would say i expected more but this is sony we are talking about -_-

A Cinematic Blockbuster Worthy of the Big Screen Sony delivers a high-budget superhero spectacle that feels straight out of Hollywood. The combat mechanics have seen noticeable improvements, and the new power upgrades add a layer of excitement that keeps gameplay fresh and engaging. Venom Boss Fights Set a New Standard The Venom encounters are a standout—intense, visually stunning, and mechanically satisfying. They raise the bar for superhero game battles and showcase the game’s polish and ambition. Final Verdict: 10/10 A must-play for superhero fans. Whether you're here for the action, the story, or the sheer cinematic flair, this game hits all the right notes.

UNLESS YOU HAVE A QUANTUM COMPUTER DO NOT BUY…. Yet (until they fix this unoptimized crap) The game doesn’t work well with PC. Been tweaking the settings and what not for hours the suits looks amazing city looks like blobs. Constant screen jitters sandman looks like a grainy booger everything is built with like 3 triangles. Spider-Man I and Miles Morales Spider-Man games I didn’t have to edit any settings it was already perfect off the bat. Don’t drop the PS5 port and steal peoples money man please optimize the game and make it accessible to all.
