I started this game not knowing what to expect. It was set in China and I was missing "something" that a guy named Elias had stolen. There is quite a bit of dialog at the beginning. It takes a while to get through it but it sets up the game nicely for what is to come. It's a bizarre looking place based mainly in grayscale with flashes of bright colors peppered about. I didn't really get this until the devs helped me out with why it is that way. (It's a dreamscape with the bright areas representing emotional parts of the brain). As for the game itself, you have all the usual RPG systems (Character creator/Inventory management, skill usage etc.). I personally liked the Character creator and did note that I was able to use the skills that I invested in, in the game. Regarding the combat, it is a pretty unique system.
