it starts off super fun and engaging. it's super unique and scary and the story is interesting. the game quickly gets repetitive, though and the gameplay loop stays the same through each night. it gets boring fast.

If you're a FNAF fan, *Into the Pit* is a must-play. The atmosphere is super creepy in all the right ways, and the time-travel twist adds something fresh to the usual FNAF formula. I really liked the story and the tension it builds—especially the way it ties into the Fazbear Frights universe. Gameplay is solid, and the horror moments genuinely got me a few times. The visuals and sound design definitely keep you on edge. That being said… going for all the achievements was **exhausting**. Some of them are really grindy and borderline frustrating, but if you're a completionist, you’ve been warned. Still, had a great time overall. If you enjoy FNAF lore and don't mind a challenge, this one's worth it. 🕹️ 8/10 🎮 Difficulty: Moderate to high (esp. for 100%) 🔁 Replayability: Only if you're chasing achievements 😱 Scare factor: Classic FNAF tension with some unique twists
Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, developed and published by Mega Cat Studios, offers a thrilling and fresh take on the beloved horror franchise by blending fast-paced roguelike mechanics with the series’ iconic animatronic terror. Unlike the slower, tension-building gameplay typical of earlier Five Nights at Freddy’s titles, this game thrusts players into an action-packed struggle for survival in a procedurally generated arena filled with relentless enemies and unpredictable challenges. This combination of classic FNAF horror themes and roguelike gameplay mechanics creates an intense experience that both longtime fans and newcomers can appreciate. The game’s setting—the ominous pit beneath Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza—feels like a perfect backdrop for this more aggressive, combat-oriented style of gameplay. Players control one of several unlockable characters, each with unique abilities, as they navigate through randomized levels teeming with hostile animatronics. The rogu...
there's no dilf afton in this game (but i can always pretend ;3) i got played like a fiddle but other than that it's still interesting
good
i only saw clips of this game in passing, so for the most time (aside from having read the book) i went in knowing nothing. the style of this game really captivated me, and i love that it was more story driven and less reliant on jumpscares, and i liked the way the book's story was portrayed. the pixel art is really pretty to look at, while still keeping the eeriness factor that makes Five Nights at Freddy's scary. also. we can pet the cat. important. to me though it's a shame that there's no manual saves. while i understand a lot of scary games try to create a sort of stressful environment, i didn't like having to redo the same part of a story over and over again when i lost. and even the thought of that happening was detrimental to the atmosphere, as the frustration sort of outweighed the previous unsettling feeling. this was especially obvious when reaching certain checkpoints made it impossible to complete certain endings without having to restart the entire game. which was also es...
