About This Game

In the year of 18XX, the west is overrun by thugs and outlaws. A group of bandits have kidnapped Mayor Johnsons daughter and are spreading havok across the land. Only Gunman Clive can bring order to the west and save the girl!

Jump and shoot your way across 16 diverse and challenging levels and fight massive bosses. Gunman Clive is an old-school sidescrolling platform game set in the old west with full 3D graphics and a unique artstyle.

I originally played "Gunman Clive" all the way back on the 3DS and am happy to say I still enjoy the game today. The levels are varied and visually connect from one area to the other (ie. Sonic 3), which I love in games. An overall simple but lovely experience. 3/5

I sunk a nice amount of time on this game back on the 3DS. For $2 its totally worth it! It's really short, you can easily beat it in under an hour but that's kinda to its benefit. If you like classic megaman this is for you. A nice amount of variety in level design and theming, not all just generic western levels like you may expect. Boss fights are fun! It does have a couple of annoying parts and cheap hits in a level or two but nothing too bad. One annoyance, there is no restart level option which is sucks because you got an achievement challenging you to beat all levels without taking a hit, forcing you to exit back to the title screen to restart the level. With its low price you cant go wrong buying it for full price.
