About the Game
Robots at Midnight is a retro-futuristic Action RPG set on the ruined planet of Yob, a luxury world now left in decay and haunted by the machines once built to serve it.
After twenty years in cryo-sleep, Zoe wakes to find a world she barely recognizes. To survive and to save what’s left, she must track down her missing father, lost during the cataclysmic event known only as The Blackout. Along the way, she’ll take on gangs of corrupted robots, confront towering bosses, and uncover long-buried truths about Yob.

Can't recommend it. Too short for the asking price and it took them almost 2 months to release a (first) patch. I understand that they may be a small team but i still pay with my wallet and i didn't feel like i got my money's worth. As a demo for a yet-to-be-released project, it would be a good appetizer. A full game though? Not exactly.

Genuinely fun game though it does have some uncommon performance issues and quirky bugs.
Combat is satisfying enough.
Music is satisfying.
Story is good enough for a 6-10 hr experience.
It left me wanting more.

just a super accessible souls like, cool animation style doesnt take itself too seriously. only an hour in so far so lots can change lol but i like it so far upgrades seem to come fast and encourages a bit of grinding. dont know how long its supposed to be but it seems like it has potential for some cool weapons and jackets. i dont really miss voice acting, hopefully they turned that budget into jacket money. you can do so much iconic stuff with jackets
