I'm really into games that I can play for both short & long bursts which keep me coming back because they are just pure fun without the need to think too hard. Sandripper is perfect for this. You can tell the (solo) dev who worked on this has really put in a crazy amount of effort. Initially, I found it a little difficult to navigate the weapon/tank menus and get a grasp on the controls - but once it clicked, I found it easy to get used to. The core gameplay loop is really fun, upgrades are awesome and the chaos is spectacular. The dev also doesn't take the game too seriously, which you can see with the humour sprinkled throughout. If I could give any feedback, I'd love to see some fleshed out / prettier upgrade cards - at the moment they are just basic drawings. I think the weapon descriptions/stats/information could be spaced out or have a clearer design to make them easier to read. SEEDED CHALLENGE MODE: If you don't fancy randomness, every few days a new pre-generated run is created for all players to experience and master. An insane predetermined sequence of events with its own leaderboard to climb!
