Tinkerlands is an alright game, but for how much it aims to be a top-down Terraria, it falls flat. The islands feel fairly bland, and from what I have seen so far, some islands such as the desert island seem to lose their purpose once you progress past certain tiers like bronze (which is occuring on the main islands desert biome already). The biggest issue is that the world just feels static. In Terraria, there are all sorts of random or player-triggered events like blood moons, goblin invasions, pirate raids, alien attacks and more that make the world feel alive. Tinkerlands simply does not have that kind of dynamism. Build variety is also lacking. While the game has a similar accessory system to Terraria, there is not much in terms of specialized gear and you pretty much just craft the next metal-tier armor and move on. I also miss having a summoning class, which has been my go-to in both Terraria and Core Keeper. Overall, Tinkerlands feels boring in the same way Necesse does. You...

I really like this game and would rate it 4.8 out of 5 stars. Mainly because the fishing mini-game is not designed for people with disabilities. Other than that, this is a FABULOUS game!

Movement speed is fucking atrocious Not a bad game all round but dear lord what the hell on the movement. EDIT: Alright after 26 more hours i guess ill give it a thumbs up, once you get a little further in the game you get dashes, and a little boot that provides a very small amount of movement speed and its honestly pretty decent now, but early game i still hold firm that movement speed is just way to slow, and why is dirt floor the only one that provides a speed boost? Stone you walk at regular speed id assume BUT grass and other floors slow you down, why is DIRT the only floor that provides a movement speed boost and not my well paved road? Its just not fun being a snail and to have to terraform the land and gather up dirt is annoying as hell to build a boss arena lol. Lots of other things i could list, but all around its a decent game for 10$ hard to complain to much i suppose

i'd say this game is great, altho i didn't expect to speedrun the game blindly defeating all the bosses in 21 hours all first try. i'll have to compare this to Nescesse since they're similar. Bosses Difficulty Scaling? Nescesse. Graphics and Animations? Tinkerlands. Convenience level? 2 points for Nescesse's independent npc/automation systems and faster travel between islands, 1 point for Tinkerlands for having 1 hotbar slot with selections to use 2 items with both sides of the mouse. Grinding? Nescesse. i am not saying this game is worse for having less points than nescesse, to be fair nescesse is already passed through version 1 and this game is still early access so it still has a lot of potential to surpass nescesse. in terms of balancing in this game, the tier 6 island weapon is better than the tier 7 island weapon. i am waiting for this game to add more content. (also i have never cooked food nor garden in this game because i never find the need to do since i first try every boss...

Has many similar vibes as Necesse but different in its own way. Also reminds me a little of Terraria. All in all a very fun game. I hope to see future updates.

Jogo extremamente viciante! Mesmo sem lançar por definitivo, é repleto de itens para conquistar e vários chefões.

what a fun way to completely forget about real life and actual responsibilities. highly recommend and the multiplayer makes it super easy to join friends or invite and then work on things alone if you feel like it. 10/10 cannot WAIT for more updates and maybe some new masks. my horse mask is starting to smell. <3

Definitely a "we have Terraria at home" sort of game at the moment, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Don't go into it thinking that it will be a 1:1 experience, though. The games in this genre are a dime a dozen, so don't bother with getting Tinkerlands if you are burnt out on these. I'm just looking forward to more NPC reactions and towns to add to the charm of the game, which it is hugely lacking in outside of its art style. I am confident that it will all come together and definitely think it is worth it at the current price.

t took me about 0.3 seconds to realise that Tinkerlands is the next game on the same list as Terraria, Necesse and Core Keeper: the kind of addictive survivalcrafters that I boot up to play “for half an hour” and suddenly it’s 3 a.m., and I’ve forgotten to eat and drink all day. What even is sunlight, and is my husband still around? The literal end of the world could’ve come and gone, and I likely wouldn’t have noticed. I just know I will play this for hundreds of hours, but I also know - sadly, from experience - that I won’t have much more to share for the foreseeable future, because I will keep restarting my game every time I learn something new, so let’s just say I recommend this game and I will get back to you later with why.

So far.. Epic game, Like people were saying 2.5d terraria. who knew how much fun a game could become if you get rid of the hunger bar. Everyone thinks adding hunger makes a game better. It's true for some games.. But it was great choice not adding hunger bar, game focuses on what terraria does... They also added in there interesting features, about climate. They seemes to learn from all the similar games, and just perfect it. Storage is convenient, adding people to houses makes more sense and works better than terraria. I didnt play a fun game like this in a long time.
