This is the Dark Souls of 3D platforming. If you think you can just breeze through this because you were good at Ratchet and Clank, THINK AGAIN! You don't have a shadow under your character to help you land your jumps onto platforms. This is hardcore parkour! The camera controls aren't going to help you either. You jump forward and pray for the best! The shooting is legit. You shoot the walking sharks and their health bars deplete. Very straightforward! And some of the basic aspects of the game feel more like hidden secrets so you have to keep a close eye on everything to make sure you get your fish snacks. Lastly, you can't shoot and jump simultaneously. But that's okay! The game play is more focused on putting boxes on buttons to open doors so the violence aspect isn't as polished. The art style is adorable and colorful and masks its hardcore shadowless gameplay.
