Battlethorne

I'm amazed at how well this little game captures the spirit of being in a player filled conflict of power. At times I wondered if my teammates even needed my help. Class switching is as simple as switching weapons. Loot is plentiful. Wandering mobs is a beautiful touch. Walking animation for your character leaves a little to be desired. And I suffered a crash immediately after clearing my first map. Other than those points, it was a fun, positive experience. More than anything else, I would love to see more maps. Big thumbs up with this one!

This game is a gem. There is an even bigger gem still hiding in this game. The gameplay is like a massive mmo battlefield with you and hundreds of bots fighting over resources and bases. The combat is fun if a bit chaotic. But after a bit of trial and error everything made sence. My main caveat is that there is no save feature as of yet appearently. At least I haven`t found any. And finishing a battlefield takes between 45 to 75 minutes. ...And that is a bit too long to make it a quick filler game. So I usually play for 30 minutes, get about half of the battlemap under our control and ... exit the game to start anew. The 4 maps are big to huge and differ enough. Your weapons define your 4 basic main combat abilities. there are 6 or 7 weapons. 6 armor slots and a magic talisman slot (usually an always active spell). Now then. I do not like mmos much. Too many rude people. But this game is like a mmo tactics trainer for me. And I kind of love it. I will easily spend another 10 t...

This game is something I have wanted to play for a long time. I mean this games style. base captures, large fights, tons of AI and 6 classes. Its like League of Legends and MMO combined. I love the fights, and the map is really cool. the stone collection could be more useful and there's no defenses you can make, other buildings, friendly heroes to buy for a lane, and the enemy AI faction doesn't even defend their home base. There are several more things I would love to see added. maybe more classes, be able to build defenses, walls (maybe for home base only?), archer towers to aid in settlement defense, or some kind of magical artillery? make the other enemy faction look different at least, make less wildlife spawn, because eventually and even early on. You have troops that build up somewhere fighting wolves or snakes. hindering reinforcements from another base. something I missed is making other bases have different bonuses or offered supplies? Maybe a base on a mountain top, that whe...

There is no clear teaching. During the battle, the entire screen flashes with fireworks and salutes. It is not clear what is happening in the game. Settings are reset after restarting the game

Dropped enough time to do one map (yeah, I know, I'm slow). I plan on playing it some more, but since it is a deeply discounted game with only a view reviews I wanted to leave one for other players. This game definitely gives the sensation of playing a PvP match in an MMO! For my first game, I turned off allowing the bots to level (thanks for adding that!). At the start, I was absolutely getting smashed, but it didn't take me long to try other classes and find the playstyle I enjoyed. The game gives drops for all sorts of items and weapons, and since the weapons are the classes you are sort of encouraged to try different classes, since you might get a better weapon for a new class you haven't tried. I liked the wand, personally...I'm not of a ranged player than an up close and personal player. I did like that, even though towards the end of the game I was level 10 playing against level 1 bots, I still had to be cautious. If I charged into a group of them, then I'd loose. The...
