making a flappy bird comparison feels like low-hanging fruit, but this really is the flappy bird of 3D run and guns. great to pick up and play for a few minutes at a time
Fun! Very minimal and fast paced just like the developers other efforts. I love what its reaching for and I'm going to keep trying to top that leaderboard
Ignore the "Gamepad required" popup, Strongly recommend M&K controls Another solid and cheap low-poly action game. Fast paced and fun, certainly worth the price. Not sure why it says game pads are required, the game pad support is not very good (right stick is suuuper sensitive) but works perfectly with mouse and keyboard.
The game is a fun idea, but a bit short. The difficulty increases around level 15, then 30, by introducing obstacles on to the track you have to avoid or jump over. The shooting mechanic seems like it was ripped from all there previous games being the same gun. I really wish they add new weapons in future games. The enemies are unique, but are all the same color, could have made some neon orange, or a dark blue, or even neon pink. Theres so many colors to choose from, so to use one for every enemy seemed kinda lazy. The game mechanic of constantly running forwards only to control the direction you are dodging, or side to side is a unique idea, i wish they branched off this more instead of keeping it as the whole game design. Unfortunately there are no achievements with this game, But there is a high score page. If the trailer looks interesting to you, pick up the game, I ended up refunding mine after 30minutes.
I like the cute little weirdos you're doing Touhou battling against and the music. I did turn the SFX down a bit, gave me a tiny heart attack when I hit start the first time. I think I would have accelerated the rate enemies die and become more threatening, as to cycle through the different little weirdos abit faster and keep interest. (or just a high difficulty that does the same)
It's a simple endless runner kind of deal. It has a very nice presentation which I like, just the sound effects got really grating so I recommend turning them slightly down. At around 25 score more interesting harder enemies start to spawn, but you have to play through the first 20 trivial enemies before that every attempt. Which can be seen as either a zen experience or an annoying slog, depending on your mood. Anyway, there's lots to love about this, but also a bunch I wish was better.
A great, simple endless runner. Perfect to pick up and put down and pick up and you'll put it down soon, you promise!
fun little score runner, polished in all the right ways
If you love the game Fantasy Zone, then you will like this game. Disclaimer, as soon as you boot up the game. you will get a prompt, from steam, suggesting that's best played with the controller. Not true. It's best played with a keyboard and mouse, tried playing with a controller and the joy stick for the crosshare was very sensitive. It also fills like a boss rush at times and there were moments when I noticed the enemies were starting to repeat. I imagine the enemies change up a bit the further you progress. Overall, it's one of those good lil snack games that you can play in the background. The price for this is fair for what it is. Graphics are creative, and controls are simple. It's a good deal for what it is.
