About This Game

Baldr’s Squid Isekai is a joke! It's also an adult parody RPG with lots of cartoon violence and sex!

Play as a mighty hero who got isekai’ed into a wet dream fantasy world. Kidnapped by legally and creatively distinct squid villains, you must fight your way out of the… Squid Game*.

*The full legal listing for the event is the Squid-related Series of Very Dangerous Combat Encounters Broken by Social Survival Type Scenarios

Join one of three groups of hot babes, almost like some shitty harem anime. We’ll show you what hentai wouldn’t dare!

Legitimate loving relationships built through a bonding experience under incredible stress. DETERMINATION!

The main thrust of the gameplay is leveling your characters, getting better loot, and of course, having ludicrous amounts of sexual intercourse with your unexplainably horny companions!

Gameplay features:

  • A narrative-driven RPG, who doesn't like porn with a plot? Satirizes tabletop RPGs, cRPGs, JRPGs and anime tropes.

  • 5 distinct player classes that experience the game in different ways, i.e trick you into replaying the game!

  • 6 recruitable companions with their own unique classes! And unique mouth feel!

  • Lots of loot! A layered equipment system like history nerds always wanted!

  • Speaking of which... there are gambesons!

  • Optional Rogue-lite mechanics

  • Animated pixel cartoon porn! With text, because reading can be done with no hands!

  • Eldritch monstrosities! With boobs even! Warning: existential terror and general creepy stuff.

  • Weird art project stuff!

Important Notes!:

This version of the game has not been tested for Steamdeck yet.

The game has a lot of reading.

If you haven't completed my previous games, it might make no sense.

I bought this because I was curious and I saw that one of the party members was a busty nudist. I wanted to like it. It has some clever writing that genuinely made me laugh several times. The gameplay was actually fun and had a good mix of challenging and rewarding. I respected the dev saying this was his dream job and he was passionate about it. But I question that passion when the game uses machine-learning-algorithm*-generated content for the character portraits and voice work. (*colloquially, and inaccurately, called "AI") The fact that the dev would be passionate about his creative works as a game maker and then callously steal the voice work of voice actors and the artwork of actual artists and somehow think it was okay simply because he used a program as a middleman. I even saw in his Discord server that he's used more such programs for some of the writing, to steal from other writers and put into his game. I'm having trouble actually accepting his passion in his dream job a...

The Dev is cool and writes interesting stories. The humour is on point, and the combat is challenging. This might not be Memoirs of a Battle Brothel, but I've been enjoying it so far.

I had some much hope for this game but it's boring and the sex is no good

This game still has some bugs, but after reporting a major one that prevented me from progressing, the developer responded to my review, researched it and put out a patch fixing it. I just verified it is fixed and I was able to progress past that point. The game has a quirky battle system, and the game is incredibly difficult at the start and gets easier if you can get past your first few fights.

Fun little game. I'm enjoying the humor and the combat system isn't too odd (though I do play the dev's other games so I'm used to some of the quirks already)

How to make a lunch Twafflo 1 hard taco shell (which you will need to have tacoed into shape beforehand) 1 small waffle (which you will need to have waffled into being beforehand) 1 tablespoon peanut butter (crunchy or creamy) 1 tablespoon jam or jelly (Marionberry jam is superior but can use peasant jams instead) Coat the sides of your taco in peanut butter. Put jam into the waffle and fold it in half. Put your waffle into your taco. Buy a video game solely to give the developer money, without any intention of playing it. Laugh at the metahumor for a couple of minutes. Leave an off-topic review. Serve with microwaved tea
