The difficulty in this game is that it plays horrendous your stamina takes too long to recharge your roll is the most clunky motion in the world and you can't even do it reliably to react to things in it's current state avoid it. This is a case of the worst kind of difficulty that can be added in the game where the game feels terrible to play soulslikes aren't hard because they play awfully they're hard because of mechanics damage and etc. Hard pass as is.

User Reviews
This game is very underrated. All we needed in a souls game is a boss rush and "Soul Sader" does just that but better somehow. This game keeps me coming back for more and I hope there is large support and content in the future.
rolling is your only way of avoiding enemy attacks. there is no jumping, or running, just rolling. unfortunately, rather than mapping roll to a button like a good developer might, they decided to map it to either left or right, and down at the same time. and it has to be EXACTLY the same time. if your timing is even half a second off, it won't work. it's not frame perfect, but it's close enough that it becomes functionally useless. it quickly devolves into spamming both buttons at the same time, hoping that your character decides to roll at the perfect time. this is kind of a huge problem, since the entire challenge of the game is timing your rolls to avoid damage. bosses have huge, repetitive combos (almost exclusively) and you have to roll several times in a row with perfect timing. this would be fine if it were mapped to a button, but the roll is completely unusable, and so the game becomes unplayable. don't waste your time.
