About This Game
How does the City Transport Simulator platform work?
City Transport Simulator is the technical foundation for multiple standalone games – including CTS: Tram and CTS: Bus. Each title can be played independently. You don’t need CTS: Tram to play CTS: Bus – and vice versa.
CTS: Bus is not a DLC or add-on – it's a full-fledged standalone title with its own content, vehicles, and gameplay modes. You can start and play it entirely on its own.
If you own both games, CTS will automatically recognize it and unlock all content seamlessly. No extra steps required – just launch CTS and enjoy everything you own.
The best part: even if you only own one of the games, the city will never feel empty. In CTS: Tram, AI buses drive through the city – in CTS: Bus, AI trams are part of the environment. This ensures a vibrant and believable city at all times. Only players who own both games can drive both vehicle types.

I'm a tram driver in Croatia (Zagreb). The game is solid, but there are some things in it that seem unrealistic to me and kill the immersion a bit. I'm writing from the perspective of both a tram driver and a tram enthusiast. 1) Traffic lights. In 80-90 percent of cases, I have to stop at traffic lights or slow down significantly before them, which is unrealistic. In reality, in Zagreb, I can often catch green traffic lights if I drive at a certain speed on a certain section (more experienced drivers know exactly where, for example, it makes sense to drive 30 km/h to always reach green traffic lights, and where you need to speed up a little). Traffic lights in Zagreb change periodically and you can memorize the phases. That's not the case here. At every traffic light, I'm greeted by red first, and I have the feeling that some of them only change to green when I stop completely and brake the tram, i.e. that the system doesn't recognize when I'm slowly crawling towards the traffic light...
i thought this would be another half effort bus sim like so many out there but its not. very cool and interesting sim! I love that you can see all your busses and trams on the time table you create! creating routes is actually pretty easy once you do it. only annoying bug i have found so far is when the sun is in a certain position the screen flashes white and i have to go to an exterior camera till it stops. Better than the bus simulator series for sure.
Literally everything is a DLC You want a good tram? DLC for one EACH You want a single bus? Again, DLC for one EACH. Except for length variations. Seriously
I don't understand all the hate. I took my time and got my steering wheel setup just fine. There are a lot of controls so you will end up hitting some buttons in the cab itself but I like that. A bus isn't going to have door controls on the steering wheel, for example. I noticed one person complain that it will activate mouse steering. Hit Left Alt and problem solved. It's a fun little game. Can't complain.
Most of the features don't work outside of the tutorial, the game random enable mouse steering on it's own, it's impossible to setup a steering wheel properly, honestly get The Bus or OMSI but don't waste your money on this simulator, it's crap.
Great game. The physics and graphics are good, so far I have just played the tram version but I am sure the bus version will be good as well.
Magnífico. Very good game and we see a continuos work by the devs to correct and improve the product. I am limited with my PC motherbord accepting only max a 75 w 6 GB GPU. But the game run very good with this card, with FPS between 28 and 36. Also, the game can run with DirectX 11 and work quite good, but you can miss details of the map or from the vehicles. Is a good game but with a weak point: the mediocre Unreal 5 engine. That mean: expect game crashes. I have only the Tram version with only a extra DLC, the GT6. Recommended.
Only 4 hours playing yet, but full of bugs (controls, graphics, physics), it's very disappointed for 30€
