Skies Above

A beautifully drawn adventure that does a good job of scratching the rogue-lite itch. Definitely feels like a good amount of content on offer for the price and it kept giving me that "one more run" feeling that these types of games are famous for. There are a few minor things that I think could be improved: [list] [*]I found that when there are lots of enemies/particles on screen it became quite easy to lose track of where the player character is - better readability for these busier combat scenarios would be great. [*]Taking control of an overloaded Buster often left the beam fixed in one direction, and I was unable to control it so just had to wait until the ability timed out. I didn't get this issue with the overloaded Bastion (which you also control), so feels like a bug rather than an input issue. [*]The aim-assist sometimes feels a little bit too strong. If there's an overloaded enemy near to you, the game really wants you to dash towards it and it's quite difficult to aim for a...

Giant magic space whales 10/10

Fun little game. I beat it in a little over 8 hours, and it was a ton of fun. If you're looking for a neat little game, then this is it.
