According to How Long To Beat, it takes four hours to beat this game. So if it took me over 7 1/2 hours to beat the first mission, does that mean I suck? I gotta git gud, man! Regardless of my skill level, or lack of one, I've been having a blast playing Entropy Survivors (solo only), one of the better survivors-type games out there. It's very playable, but not too easy (no kidding!), colorful as hell, and the screen is always filled with spectacular activity. You kind of understand what's happening in the game most of the time, but sometimes the mysterious goings-on are not well explained. That's ok, it's fun anyway. Plays perfectly on the Deck with a BT gamepad.

If I had to categorize it simply, its another "vampire survivor" -clone- style game. Honestly, there are so many games that use the Vampire Survivor template, I don't think they should be called clones anymore, at this point it's honestly its own game category. That being said, this is one of those but it is not at all a clone, The theme of this game is hilarious and awesome: you're a frog, riding a mech, running around fighting aliens and eating cosmic butterflies. the power ups and upgrades/moves you have to choose from on a per-level run, is much more creative than the over-used V-Survivor power-set that so many of these games use. [ This game is very fun and challenging. There are many abilities, allowing you to pick and choose how you want to play. Getting to know all of the classes and weapons, gives you many many ways of playing. Over time, you can continue to play as a hybrid of melee and ranged powers, or play purely as melee or ranged. After completing all the planets and their levels, you unlock the endless ex missions. The ex missions allow the player to try out new builds and new strategies as each mission is very different. You also are now part of a world wide ranking system, so you can see how you rank among other players. I highly recommend this game for both solo and group play. ]
