It's a pretty jank indie. I actually don't mind traversing the map all that much, with the exception of these lights that change every 30 seconds or so which can prevent you from double jumping or do harm to you. They're all over the place and waiting for them to change to an acceptable colour reminds me of playing something borked liked CV2: Simon's Quest. Combat is very basic and feels unpolished as well. You can double jump, move left/right and have a slash attack. Defeating enemies sometimes relies on waiting for them to be in the right spot of a hallway so you can safely execute a slash on them without being hit yourself. The mapping in the game is kinda fun, it updates as you explore nicely. There are levers all over the place and I don't think it marks which levers you might have missed (So you better make sure you hit them the first time you spot them!). There are other janky things you wouldn't expect in a polished game, like enemies at your teleport/spawn locations ...

Great game if you like the metroidvania genra. The graphism are inspired of the retro games and give a NES game ambiance. If you like to die and retry, give it a try
