"Little Penguin Chillventure" has super cute graphics and animation and the player character is adorable. Also, the jump button (the only button I have found since no instructions or tutorial are included) is very responsive. Despite the game's visual charm, the level design becomes quite challenging. This begins on level three with a large rolling saw blade that requires some practice to avoid. It continues with obstacles and enemies that seem to always be just a hair away from where they would be easy to avoid. This makes developing a rhythm difficult but also makes beating the levels a satisfying accomplishment. I have encountered one seemingly insurmountable obstacle. Partway into level four, there's a jump that requires the penguin to land on a distant surface. However, his basic jump doesn't come anywhere close to spanning the distance and there's no enemy for it to jump off of to get more air. This is a baffling game stopper.
