I was put off this game by the reviews from people who preferred Motorsport Manager. As a heavy MM player, I finally picked up F1 Manager on sale, and I prefer F1 Manager. A lot of the complication in Motorsport Manager comes from rather implausible things that are quite obviously game mechanics, rather than from how things realistically work. Those are gone. Managing tyre and engine heat in F1 Manager actually makes sense (although the fact that you don't get told the minimum or maximum temperature for anything until you hit it is annoying). I have moved on from this (Umamusume has me in its dastardly racing clutches), but since I'm uninstalling MM and keeping F1 Manager, I figured I should note that decision with a review.

good game but ferrari won both championships in the first season and had very good strategy so its quite unrealistic

I really wanted to enjoy F1 Manager 24, but unfortunately the game won’t launch on my PC. It crashes immediately with a Fatal Error: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I’ve tried everything: updating drivers, reinstalling, verifying files, disabling antivirus, using DirectX 11, even testing the Epic Games version and F1 Manager 23 — but nothing works. My PC meets the requirements, so it seems like a serious bug. I hope the developers fix this soon, because the game looks really promising.

Honestly, the game is fineeeeeee, but the fact that you can get fired from your team when you have a long term objective makes the game unplayable.

After compelteing 100% of F1 manager 2024, would I recommend it? Disappointingly no. Now dont get me wrong this game has its positives, to start with it looks and sounds fantastic. Being not only fully licensed letting the real world of F1 be shown it also has audio snippets from the real drivers and crew members that give the game that little bit of life. On top of that although the game had a rough launch it has since been updated and made a stable and rather bug free experience. But unfortunately that doesn't distract from what I feel is poor gameplay. In terms of mid race planning and management the game is fine, the choices you make are no different that the other motorsport games you can pick up and play, however outside the racing I feel that there is too much of a focus on its real world comparisons and metrics rather than the gameplay being fun and understandable. As an F1 fan, it is a great game that allows you to get a lot of involvement in a race weekend without needing to do the racing yourself. My only issue is that I have had 5 times where the game crashed in the middle of a race causing me to lose any progress in the race.

Do not Buy This Game Getting Kicked all the time constant errors occur etc etc Will never buy another Frontier game again or steam game for that matter. Steam will not refund they blame the developer really bad developer if they can't get a game like this right.
