About This Game

From the creators of Runes of Magic, Dragon's Prophet is a free to play fantasy MMO that transports you to the breathtaking world of Auratia, a realm where dragons fill the sky. For thousands of years, the epic wars between ancient dragons have threatened to plunge Auratia into chaos. Now, an even greater danger has emerged that threatens the very existence of the realm. Explore the vast land as you attempt to CAPTURE, TRAIN, RIDE, AND FIGHT hundreds of unique dragons!

In a world shaped by dragon-kind, hundreds of unique dragons roam the lands. CAPTURE, TRAIN, RIDE, and FIGHT them in order to unlock their unique skills and abilities.

Dragon’s Prophet uses a unique auto-target and combo system that immerses players in visceral battles and action gameplay. This system gives players a higher degree of control, and a wider range of tactical options than traditional MMOs.

Players are transported to the breathtaking world of Auratia, which is filled with amazingly detailed landscapes. Mysteries, challenges and monsters await players as they fight not just for their own survival, but for the survival of the entire realm.

Players will choose from four distinct player classes to begin their journey into Auratia. Whether they prefer to get in close, shoot an arrow into a dragon’s eye, or blast an entire group of goblins with ranged DPS, there is a class for every player.

The dragons a player captures will shape their character and, ultimately, their fate. Will you be a legendary fighter? Can you capture and train a dragon that will stand alongside you in the heat of battle? Capturing the right dragons is the difference between life and death!

Enter the world of Auratia for free and immerse yourself in the world where Dragons abound. Obtain loot through gameplay or enter the marketplace to make purchases with Diamonds.

Let's just say, i do like this game. I find it's mechanics quite interesting, the loot system is okay, but in the end i must say - this is not free to play. It is free to test, basically.. and it is not even reasonable with it's Item Mall pricings. Basic reasoning: The player base is to small for ingame currency - farm trades. You have to pay for any row of inventory, besides the first page of inventory. You have to pay for bank space, for dragon store space.. For carrying dragons space, for dragons at work space.. You can't play this for free. And overall - it is overpriced. I would rather pay a 10€ moth subscription fee to get everything! Then be forced to spend more just to start. Yes i am forced.. As every pokemon generation kid - i feel compelled to say - fuck you publisher. Not because you are bad, but because with my income I CAN'T PLAY. -.- EDIT: Came back to this game.. and got depressed at the amount of money necessary to play. AGAIN. -.- 6700 Diamonds for Full Inve...

Like 99% of MMOs, free-to-play or no, this game's character creation features big strong mans and tiny little ladies complete with ...what, 3 or 4 boob adjustment sliders? Also, attempting to fix your Fantasy Woman Body into something resembling an actual human will result in your model being all kinds of messed up. Not to mention the armor is, of course, designed to not actually be protective or...really even comfortably worn by any woman. Aside from that, the UI looks like it was thrown together in about 30 minutes and is, in general, pretty terrible to look at. Sound bugs out and goes up and down randomly at any given moment. The weapon models don't seem to be anchored to the characters at all? Or not well, at least. Just running makes a weapon on your back flip out, and multiple times the model left my character's hand while fighting/running. I'm sure the dragon aspect is rad, but your gameplay only matters if what surrounds it is worth anything, and everything in this game lo...

I just discovered it's available in Europe so I wanted to try it out I had heard it was a great game. Unfortunately the game won't even start. The launcher has script errors. It probably works on older computers witn older Windows. But I can't get it to work even after setting the launcher to a Windows 7 or 8 Compatibility mode. It's too bad. I wanted to get into this game. But it just wasn't meant to be. It's probably not getting updated for newer systems. Uninstalling. All of the help guides have nothing on what to do to fix this either. So based on not getting past the script errors to even start the game it sucks.

I havent played long but umm. Like I mean the game isnt bad nor is it WOO-HOO.... I literally almost feel I'm playing a different game than what everyone else is playing. On the outside looking in , its pretty epic but, once in... Its like, meh. This is the kinda game that you play when you're bored and just wanna pass time. its that game that makes u tell urself "eh i can spend a hour or 2 on this and work through some things". Personally when i play a game i wanna b left with ooos and ahhhhs and cant wait to play again kinda feelings. Overall though its ok i guess 4.9/10

Use to play this a LOT when SOE had it, and so glad Steam put this up. Overall, a very fun MMO if you like collecting things, Dragons to be specific. Each one you tame has its own set of skills, abilities. You can cross train them, and they can gather materials for crafting for you. Theres a housing system which is pretty decent and the combat is very fun, especially since you fight along side the dragons you collect throughout the game. Theres definitely not another MMO like it.

I had heard about this game a long time ago when SOE hosted it. Finally giving it a try and its not that bad. Owning dragons sounds cool. Only lvl 10 now so i don't know how it will turn out. UPDATED : So i got different character to level 12 and the game is interesting but i found the combat kind of annoying. Its the no targeting so called action combat that i just find annoying sometimes. Mobs are always moving around which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't hit ever other mob in the area and end up fighting more than one. I always seem to get an extra shot off and dragging other mobs to me after i killed the one i want. If the game had an option for tab targeting i would love the game.
