Feels really underdeveloped! The Story is somewhat of a let down as it feels like when the game is starting to get going, it just ends which is a bit annoying. I also thought that the 'big reveal' was kind of a let down and wasn't anything interesting. Even the Capital Building could have had more development as it was shaping into an interesting plot point, but just like the rest of this game it leaves a lot to be desired. The characters aren't really that interesting. Mo is shaped to be this character that you have to figure out if they can be trusted or not, but i don't think that the game does a good job at keeping the intrigue that would have fitted a game like this perfectly. The Setting is somewhat interesting. I understand that this is meant to be a smaller experience but i have to say it gets old pretty quick as you have to run from one side of the play area to the other and it can just be a bit dull, especially with there being really no change except for the ending of...

About This Game

Breathe in.
High in the mountains, an endless train thunders through a decaying station. This is the Border Post. Your job is simple: blow a whistle to keep the train on schedule. But the air is thin up here.
Don’t speak. Don’t run. Don’t look in the train. Just do your job. It’ll all be over soon.
FIGHT FOR EVERY BREATH
It isn’t impossible to breathe in the Border Post. Just impossible to catch your breath. Every exertion is another foot in the grave. Each blow of your whistle is a death sentence. Your only reprieve are air canisters rationed out for your good work. So you better be a good worker.
MAINTAIN
There’s no shortage of tasks to keep you busy during your shift. Deliver reports. Clean the water filter. Collect discarded wood. And don’t worry about that smell.
MEET MO
Mo is your friend and fellow Border Post worker. His shift is over, but he’ll happily come running if you call. He’ll answer any questions you might have. Well, except for that question. He wouldn’t lie to you. Don’t make him.
YOUR CHOICES, YOUR STORY
Your choices matter. Which choices? What country are you from? How could it matter? Experience a semi-linear narrative where every moment could be a new branching path. Or not. Such is life.
Breathe out.

User Reviews
THRESHOLD is a game that makes you ask questions. Questions like: "What exactly did I sign up for?" "What is the point of this?" "How dangerous is this job?" "Why can I only speak with my boss in the ethereal static nightmare room? "What level of horrible tedium and/or pain am I willing to tolerate?" "What are my benefits? Am I even being paid?" THRESHOLD (all caps all the time) is a game about you doing a job that everyone insists is important but its unclear why. You've signed a vague contract and you're told to get on shift because the other guy's been on call for the past 18 hours so GET TO WORK. It's a short bite sized game, so I won't get into details about the reveals that happen, but I will say that I was given flash backs to other horrible jobs I've done. The visuals and sound is pretty good, everything is given a very deliberate "crunch" that's very clearly trying to emulate a specific type of visual style, that still leaves everything clear and readab...
A truly unique experience with a strong message. The tension is constantly rising and the atmosphere is pitch-perfect. If you like ambient horror and PSX aesthetics, you should definitely give it a go.
Short, grim and dark story in dusty & rustic tones. Highly recommended.
I liked the atmosphere- it's weird and unsettling like Mouthwashing Unfortunately the overall experience feels underdeveloped, I never really got into the game Looking forward to seeing what the next project from this dev will be
Great game! Even though it's a short game, it really sucks you in.
a super tense game with a very bizarre concept, highly recommend to those looking for a stressful game
Oh boy, that was something!
Should have resigned when I got the chance.
Find purpose within an industrialized hellscape. Keep it train moving. Keep breathing. Do as your told. Eye's up. Bight down.
