About This Game

A space Roguelike straight out of a dark 90's alien movie.

Radio Silent is a Top Down Survival Roguelike Auto-Shooter with WASD movement and mouse aiming. (Twin-stick Shooter Style)

You're a marine that just latched onto a ship that went radio silent for 20 years after entering a wormhole in space. Battle hordes of aliens, upgrade your arsenal, and collect audio logs to discover the chilling history of the ship you've boarded. This game is as combat driven as it is story driven. You'll feel like you're playing through a nostalgic noir space thriller you've never heard of before as the rich story elements take you on a journey.

Start off with your basic Assault class and unlock other classes as you defeat the various bosses you face.

Choose Abilities As You Level Up
Ability crates spawn randomly on your runs and give you powerful Abilities that you only retain for that current run. These abilities have their own strengths and weaknesses and you'll be able to experiment with them a good bit as they spawn pretty frequently. You may feel a bit weak at first but if you survive long enough the tables will turn in your favor.

Upgrade Your Stats
Completing objectives and destroying crates on your runs will net you Credits to spend at the Upgrade Station. These Upgrades are permanent and will give you a great advantage on future runs.

Complete Objectives For More Credits
When you load into a level 1 of 2 possible objectives will spawn, giving you the opportunity to earn way more credits than just destroying the various crates that spawn.

Survive Hoards of Aliens
Aliens of all types spawn randomly during each run, once you kill them you pick up the Experience Crystals they drop to level up. Their health and damage increase based off the player's level so it's important to choose your bonus stats carefully when you level up! Bosses drop Audio Logs that you can listen to at the Audio Log Station in the Main Hub to hear the chilling history of the ship you've boarded.

Its a fun shooter that progressively gets harder as the little alien bastards start swarming you, but the upgrades help level the playing field. You collect audio logs from alien bosses after you murder them; these tell the backstory in a cool way. Looking forward to seeing more of the game as its developed!

Another great Action Roguelike / Bullet Hell game. While still in EA, the developer has already implemented changes and fixes despite the game being out for less than a week. Further changes I'd like to see:

Change the color of the ranged mob projectiles. It gets difficult to tell it apart from the XP pickups and rotating Drone spheres.
Show the stats from the level-up screen while paused.
Upon run end, show damage dealt from each weapon type, as well as other basic info (monsters killed, damage taken/healed etc.)
Very fun arcade style shooter. It took me awhile just to beat the first level but it was definitely worth it.

Absolute blast to mow down tons of aliens. When I need something that isn't going to stress me out but still give me that feeling of kicking copious amounts of ass, this is the game I go to. Working on getting all the story disks now, very Event Horizon-esque. Also, mini gun with lasers all the way!

I really enjoyed the varying enemies and gruesome environment. This game really gave me vibes of doom, but a bit more mysterious. I liked how you could select different characters with different traits, like the guy with the shotgun and mini gun. What I liked most was the story logs, which you stumble upon in the map and hear in the main area. I was also pleased by the various bosses and the over-all difficulty of the game. I'm not a fan of easy games, so it was good to finally get a creativity-filled challenge. This game was great, and I give it an over-all 9/10.
