boring game. it looked promising to me when i looked at the screenshots here on steam. but its just walking around and trying to find the correct way. sometimes i just didnt know what im dying from because there was nothing there. had to refund it sadly.

This game is largely a walking sim where you have to use your camera against the monsters that roam around and find a well that is somewhere on the map in order to progress. There wasn't really any major jumpscares maybe a monster might startle you but other than that you are just basically avoiding them and the game does a good job with making them look scary when it comes to their design, them watching you from afar, and when they run at you maybe have their animations be more unnatural for a next game. When it comes to the camera the battery drains insanely quick and with this game being pitch black you basically have to restart in order to see again if you can't grab one of the floating bright orbs that charge your camera. Personally the game would of been better off without this mechanic. This game would of probably benefited from a feeling of going underground like an extensive cave system, metro tunnel, or something like the Paris catacombs since a vast majority of the game ta...

I played the demo several months ago, and it looked like a very promising horror game. It really delivered an unsettling atmosphere from the visuals, to the sounds, to the creatures lurking in the shadows. The full release still upheld all of these elements, but I felt it lacked a strong story line. Having said that, it didn't sway from the unpleasant vibe, which you really need to experience yourself to truly appreciate it. I also feel some kind of tutorial, or even the message halfway through the game but at the beginning, would really help players understand the use of the camera with the creatures; I personally wouldn't have grasped it so quickly if I hadn't played the demo, especially when it comes to preserving camera battery. Great atmosphere and cool sound and level design. Minor performance issues and some rough object placements, but overall great experience. Had fun :)

This game features an interestin light mechanic via use of a camera. It enables light which creates a safe haven of sorts for the player. When not in the light you are in danger of bein' contorted by the monsters. I like the atmosphere and graphic style. There is a story bein' told here as well. Not bad for the price. I streamed this game as it was recommended to me by a personal friend of the developer. A great short horror game with some rough edges. The atmosphere was great and the game does a good job of keeping you on your toes when it comes to using the camera, which is the only tool provided to protect yourself and interact with the world. Some cool visuals and level design as well. Props for not using cheap jumpscares. The negatives: On a few instances it wasn't clear where to progress which caused me to get lost or move in the wrong direction (could just be me). It did feel like there were some funky checkpoints, which caused some backtracking. I also had a memory leak or similar issue on one of the last levels causing frames to drop as low as 6 per second. Luckily the issue resolved itself. None of these were dealbreakers for me, as I was determined to finish the game. I'm pretty mixed about this one, the sound design and atmosphere is really good, I loved the beginning, but as the game progressed it hit a major difficulty spike with a new type of enemy and essentially no vision at all. The graphics are pretty cool, but in some places it looks really bad and dated. It's an alright horror game, I enjoyed it for what it is.
