So I finally finished this game, well technically I did. What can I say about it? well The Talos Principle is a really engaging puzzle game and has some neat things to offer for anyone who likes these sorts of puzzle games. Although I would recommend you..
GET THIS GAME ON SALE!
This is a good game worth playing if you're into puzzle solving, however I didn't rush to buy it until it was obviously below 30 bucks. I think I got it at 10 dollars? maybe in 2014 it was worth that much, but the sale is what got me to play it. Besides that, onto the review!
the graphics
This wont be a long section, but the graphics in this game are beautiful. Alot might say its "outdated", I would insist that it looks way better than most games now a days. plus for something that came out in 2014, It holds up really well! Honestly I looked at the remaster and didn't get blown away by the "comparison" anything from this era looked fine. The landscapes are great to look at and there is a ...
I HATE THIS GAME

for being so amazing!

Well, Talos Principle is a brilliant puzzle game like many around there, bu that challenges not just your mind, but your understanding of existence. The puzzles are clever and satisfying, but what truly caught my attention here is how it explores what it means to be human. Through terminals, messages, and the lore about humanity before it ceased to exist, it asks whether consciousness, choice, and self-awareness are unique to us, or if machines could ever experience the same. As a philosophy enthusiast, i was quite amused on how the game explores so much existentialism that would make Sartre proud, engaging in topics such as what is humanity, and if a machine can think, feel, and act on it's own does that mean being human?    Playing it now, in an age where AI has advanced so quickly, it feels eerily relevant, like Detroit: BH. We are closer than ever to machines that can think, l...

Definitely one of the best game of its kind. Mechanics feel very good and graphics are decent. Soundtrack in the menu is just pure enjoyment.

A puzzle game whose puzzles extend beyond the game itself and has you questioning everything. 10/10

Super fun and clever puzzles and collectibles (silly easter eggs too). The puzzles had a nice range of difficulty. Every single puzzle mechanic was a joy to solve with and used to its fullest throughout the game. Just as engaging as the puzzles was the story. An intriguing mystery with a wonderful ending.

Dont worry about what if anything you're meant or supposed to do, instead find your own reason to live, exist for the sake of existing, be critical and honest with yourself, and most importantly your beliefs create your own purpose in life.

Not every game makes you stop and think about life, death, and the meaning of existence — but this one does. The Talos Principle is a philosophical puzzle adventure where you’re not just solving mazes with lasers and cubes — you’re piecing together questions about humanity, consciousness, and free will. The puzzles are brilliantly designed: challenging but fair, with a perfect learning curve. Every area feels like a test, not only of logic but also of patience and observation. The moment you finally solve a tough one — pure satisfaction. But what really makes Talos special is the atmosphere. Walking through ancient ruins, listening to Elohim’s godlike voice, and finding terminals with fragments of lost humanity — it’s haunting and beautiful at the same time. The writing is deep, sometimes unsettling, and it stays in your head long after the credits roll. Pros: ✔️ Brilliant puzzle design with tons of variety ✔️ Non-linear progression — explore and solve at y...
