Castaway itself is a great pick up and play game, its short enough as a speedrunner to enjoy overall but long enough to enjoy casually and not dedicate my life to. great mechanics within the game and well i rate it, as someone who used to programme this is the kind of game i wanted to make and full respect to the developer.

You definitely get what you pay for here, but I do mean that in a good way. The game description of "2 mini-games (Adventure/Survival)" is very apt. Gameplay is reminiscent of Link's Awakening. I view the story mode as more of a tutorial for the survivor mode. You start with your sword, do some puzzles, go through a maze, get a pickaxe that doubles as a heavy attack, and continue to find your grappling hook and dog. You hit the credits in under an hour which may rub many off the wrong way. However, I think there is plenty of quality here for the price. Right after the credits, you immediately find yourself tackling the game's deep dungeon. If you were looking for a bite sized game that trims ALL of the fat and for a good price, and you want a zelda-like, this game is for you.
