Lost in Random: The Eternal Die

Simply just not enough. After killing the last boss, the game doesn't offer anything new. You experienced everything. Sure, you could go for a new build or some modifications to mobs, but it'll be the same play-through, same mobs, same bosses, in the same order. I hoped for 10 hours at minimum from the game but ended up with 4 hours, the 5. hour going for achievements, yet not really finding enjoyment in that. If you don't mind the monotoni, it's an excellent game.

An other roguelite where you have to do the same level again and again to return to the new levels you discovered. It's repetitive and boring really fast. Please just randomize the levels.

I have beaten Hades final boss for the first time around 15 hours in. In this game, in 8 hours, I have seen 2nd stage only 3 times, and beaten the first stage well over 50 times. I maxed out 3 out of 4 weapons, and gotten to 4th tier of character upgrades, yet the first boss is practically impossible to beat reliably. Why? Well, I tried to analyze and came to conclusion that it comes down to two things: RNG and hitboxes. Hades had mechanics that allowed even extraordinarily unlucky players like me to play and enjoy it because you had a lot of ways to manipulate the RNG in your favor. In this game you have none. Bad upgrade drops? Overwhelming enemy spawns? You are screwed. In Hades, you had multiple dodges and attacks had hitboxes that generally matched the visual effects. This made it easier to see where the attack was going to land and dodge it. Enemies also had cooldowns between attacks and couldn't just spam them endlessly with no cooldowns. In this game you only have one dod...

Very good, i`d like for the weapons to have a different skins depending on an active aspect and more boss variety (in a DLC maybe), but otherwise - very good

Game is very similar to Hades and as much fun but shorter

Amazing game. If moderately skilled, beatable in 5-8 hours. But then you can continue playing, experience different play styles and unlock harder modes to challenge yourself further. I have a long way to go to maximize my own power still. ~7 hours played upon completion!

Really good

A fun hades-inspired game with nice graphics, fun gameplay, and lots of character that doesn't over stay its welcome. I got it for $20 and the 14 hrs I played it (i declined to do the increasing challenge post-final boss loop), felt more than worth it.

Delightful, the game is gorgeous and the combat is actually very good and you might want to strategically place the upgrades in the matrix that combines them in a match 3 pattern to get the most out of it. Yes I have played Hades and yes Hades is awesome but this is not Hades and yet this is a YES, I recommend whether I end up getting 20 hours or 60 hours of playtime out of this won't make a difference, game's good.
