Oni Station

Before I explain the game play loop lemme say this game is like an adrenaline rush. It's so time management/spacial awareness that its actually challenging. 1. This is a proper rougelike as every run results in death. 2. The goal is to get as far as possible through infinite "stations" 3. You use these stations to look for gas to keep the train going. 4. You can also find flashlight batteries/gatcha coins. 5. The gatcha coins are used in a machine in the back of the train to spawn random items. 6. The demon that is always chasing you can be out maneuvered if you are sneaky. 7. The game ends if the demon touches you or if the train runs out of gas. This game is great but needs a few additions. 1. The pixel filter is kinda ugly and hope we can turn it on/off in the future. 2. A fov slider would help at wider res. 3. Reeeally fun little game, got some good jumpscares out of me. Simple, effective, replayable, really cool one!

Addicting little game to throw yourself into when you want a little spookiness. I would appreciate a little more polishing. Maybe another item or feature or something. If there were more loops/entrances possible in the maze of rooms, instead of mostly dead ends, I think that would add some excitement trying to evade the Oni. As far as bugs, I was launched off the train once while it was going to another station. And I was caught once by an oni that spawned on me, without warning. The talisman was confusing to use. I had two and upon meeting the oni he ate both of them...

Amazing game! Had a good number of jumpscares with it, and I will try reaching the highest score. In second place of the ranking for now :D

Very fun and terrifying game!

Really cool idea. Already really fun, i hope it gets updates, with a little more content this could be one of the greats.

Really fun horror game with a creepy atmosphere and distinctive style. There are leaderboards for the competitive folk and, hopefully with how the devs are pretty active in taking in player feedback to improve the game, there will be friend filtered leaderboards. With a playstyle more reminiscent of an arcade and easter eggs splintered all over the map i'd say it's a pretty good for shorter play sessions and to play with friends (it's no shame to fall for a jumpscare if everyone around you does as well xD )
