Lightcube is a Windows based pixel art editor for making quality game assets, animations and stunning pixel art. Lightcube supports multiple layers, animation frames and a range of tools include pen, eraser, magic wand selection, paint bucket, line draw and pattern brushes. Lightcube includes a tile map editor that updates in realtime as your draw. Lightcube supports PNG, JPEG, GIF and Photoshop PSD files.

I really enjoyed using this app at the beginning, the masking is really efficient as well as being able to copy images from one window to another in the app. There are a few things that could definitely improve the app. Things such as saving clip art files or transparent that you create as .pngs,jpegs or other image files that you could use on another app in case the app suddenly crashes or if you are suddenly stuck unable to retrieve your work because of the file type. This was a issue i experienced: i had made multiple pixel .png type arts with the app and i wanted to edit them with the animation tool, when i opened the app the window would load up as if it was going to launch a art window then it would freeze and crash, i tried to clear the data and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and i still had this issue and now i have downloaded a new app because i was unable to retrieve my art work.

Great simple and intuitive graphic tool. Awesome feature set for the low price and punches well above its weight! I highly recommend this app, especially if you're looking at creating your own logos, apps or games The software developer was also very prompt and helpful with the questions and suggestions I had
